» A Taste of Ayurveda will be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., hosted by Bigelow Free Public Library.

Claire Ragozzino will introduce her audience to the basic concepts of Ayurveda and present some healing recipes to work in harmony with the seasons and help balance the basic Ayurvedic energies within our bodies to achieve maximum health and wellness.

The healing science of Ayurveda originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often referred to as “The Mother of All Healing.”

Dedicated to achieving holistic health and wellbeing, Ayurveda focuses on creating balance between the mind, body and consciousn­ess according to one’s individual constituti­on.

Learn the foundation­al concepts of Ayurveda; eating for your unique body type; the six tastes and qualities of foods; how to care for your digestion; and kitchen tips and tricks for building balanced meals.
