Those dream babies are bringing good things
With so many changes happening around us now, it is not surprising that so many people are having chaotic dreams. If you feel like you are losing control, pay attention to the details of your dream to see what you may be able to do to help yourself. Dear Dream Retriever: Since January, my life seems to have taken a turn for the worse. There are so many things in my life that have come to an end and seem to have faded from sight. I have lost so much and feel as though I am missing something that could help me stop all of this craziness around me. You would think I would be dreaming of many deaths with all the losses I have taken, but the opposite is true: All of my dreams are about births.
Last week, the dream that stayed with me was my daughter having a baby boy. He was amazing, and I held him in the dream. That is all I remember. My daughter is not pregnant, nor is she even married or thinking about it. This week, I had two dreams of births. One was my neighbor’s daughter, and my neighbor came to my front door to tell me her daughter had a baby boy. We are friends but her daughter is about 50 so she isn’t having any children.
The most recent was the strangest of all: My sister was in the dream and telling me her daughter was pregnant and that she was having twins. Strange for several reasons: First, because my sister passed away three years ago, and in the dream it was present day. I was where I live in my house that I bought after my sister passed. Second, my sister didn’t have any daughters, only two sons. — New Life?
Dear New Life?: You actually got it without realizing it. You are not dreaming about death because it is obvious to you the losses that have taken place. What isn’t obvious is that for every ending, there is a new beginning, and you need to focus on that. New baby boys mean new ideas and knowledge coming into your life.
Don’t lose hope. You have good new things coming.
