Lorraine E. (Rouisse) Stevenson
FITCHBURG - Lorraine E. (Rouisse) Stevenson, 94 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12 in the Lifecare Center of Leominster with her family at her side.
Lorraine was born on March 7, 1927 in Fitchburg a daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Marcel) Rouisse.
Lorraine’s soul mate and husband of 66 years, Richard C. Stevenson passed away in 2016.
Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Carrol L. StevensonLeBlanc and her husband, Richard of Fitchburg, Valerie M. Luft of Fitchburg, Lori A. Rosenbayger and her husband, Randy of Fitchburg. Lorraine also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Richard and wife Zenayda Rosenbayger, Amanda E. Luft, Mark Rosenbayger, Faith and her husband Jeremy Dickie, great grandchildren, Charlotte E. Luft and Christopher Hernandez. Lorraine also leaves behind her brother Robert Rouisse and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stevenson is predeceased by her siblings, Norman Rouisse and Rita Forest.
Lorraine worked for several years at the former Foster Grant Sunglass manufacturing plant in Leominster, and Rogers in Fitchburg.
Lorraine was famous for her exceptional cooking, most notably for her pork pies. She also loved knitting, gardening, reading and above all else her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
