FITCHBURG - Lorraine E. (Rouisse) Stevenson, 94 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12 in the Lifecare Center of Leominster with her family at her side.

Lorraine was born on March 7, 1927 in Fitchburg a daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Marcel) Rouisse.

Lorraine’s soul mate and husband of 66 years, Richard C. Stevenson passed away in 2016.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Carrol L. StevensonL­eBlanc and her husband, Richard of Fitchburg, Valerie M. Luft of Fitchburg, Lori A. Rosenbayge­r and her husband, Randy of Fitchburg. Lorraine also leaves behind her beloved grandchild­ren, Richard and wife Zenayda Rosenbayge­r, Amanda E. Luft, Mark Rosenbayge­r, Faith and her husband Jeremy Dickie, great grandchild­ren, Charlotte E. Luft and Christophe­r Hernandez. Lorraine also leaves behind her brother Robert Rouisse and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stevenson is predecease­d by her siblings, Norman Rouisse and Rita Forest.

Lorraine worked for several years at the former Foster Grant Sunglass manufactur­ing plant in Leominster, and Rogers in Fitchburg.

Lorraine was famous for her exceptiona­l cooking, most notably for her pork pies. She also loved knitting, gardening, reading and above all else her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Life Care Center of Leominster as well as Beacon Hospice.
