LEOMINSTER - Collette Pamela (Landry) Flynn of Leominster and formerly of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on May 13,2021 at the Highlands.

Collette was born July 2, 1935 in Fitchburg, daughter of the late Arthur J. and Christine M. (Pitre) Landry. Collette attended and graduated from the former Julie Country Day School in 1949 and St. Bernard’s High School Class of 1953. Following graduation , she worked in the Admitting 7MSh1 mw2 9W1w 9W1 bWmpymht m9 Burbank Hospital.

On October 15,1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Henry B. Flynn Jr.

In 1976 she went to work at Fitchburg State College as a departmemt­al secretary in the English and business Administra­tion Depts., and retired in 2000 with 24 years of service. During her tenure at the college, she was awarded two Distinguis­hed Service Awards.

She is survived by her three sons, Michael B. Flynn of Fitchburg, MA, Timothy D. Flynn and wife Marie (LeBlanc) Flynn of Fitchburg, MA,

Brian W. Flynn and wife Kristen (Daniels) Flynn of Fitchburg, MA, two grandsons, Christophe­r D. Flynn and Derrick T. Flynn both of Fitchburg, MA. She also leaves her two nephews, Stephen McCluskey and wife Sharon and Richard McCluskey and wife Frances, 1 grandnephe­w, 2 grandniece­s,2 great grandniece­s, and her brother –in-law Robert McCluskey all living in Fitchburg, MA. and her dear friends, Lois Glasgow of Ayer, gA mw2 ’1c1w1 Ap41wm,c9 dMM 011pS1c2 B1mhWN Florida.

She was predecease­d by her husband of 44 yrs Henry in 2000, her infant son David,1959,her infant grandson Patrick 1996, and her identical twin sister Constance (Connie) McCluskey in 2012 She wasa former member of St. Bernard Parish where she served as a lector and Eucharisti­c minister for several years.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday May 18,2021 with a Mass at 10a.m. in Our Lady of The Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA . Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday afternoon from 5 until 7p.m. at the funeral home. The Lavery Chartrand Alario Funeral Home 99 Summer St. is directing. Michael S. Alario – Director – Owner.
