Leominster golf remains unbeaten

Blue Devils improve to 4-0

The Leominster High golf team impressed again on Tuesday, topping Oakmont Regional, 30-24, at Gardner Municipal Golf Course.

The win lifts the Blue Devils to 4-0 on the season.

Jonny Gastonguey was the medalist for Oakmont (2-1), carding a 36.

ST. BERNARD’S 152, SUTTON 183 » Adam Bosco shot an even-par 35 Oak Hill Country Club to lead the Bernardian­s (3-1), setting a new personal low score. Colin Majowicz also had a career low round with a 38. NORTH MIDDLESEX 36, FITCHBURG 18 » Xander Murray led the Patriots (3-2) with a 2-over 37 at Northern Spy Golf Club. Andrew Peterson (38), Jake Miller (40) and Conner Lavery (40) also golfed well in the win.

Fitchburg (0-4) was led by Abby Stone’s 37 and a 41 from Pete Stephens.

LUNENBURG 29, BROMFIELD 25 » Tyler Hollifield carded a 38 to lead Lunenburg (1-3) at Settlers Crossing.

Boys cross country

NASHOBA 15, FITCHBURG 50 » The Wolves claimed the top five spots led by Freddy Collins, who set a course record with a time of 16:32. Ailin Oberlies (17:01), Adam Balowitz (17:36),

Tommy Hall (18:54) and Matt Basteri (19:38) all followed.

Girls cross country

NASHOBA 15, FITCHBURG 50 » Nashoba’s Caroline Collins claimed first in 20:02, followed by Lailee Joyce (24:00), Ava Klein (24:52), Erin Farmer (25:02), and Isabelle Cote (25:32).

Fitchburg’s top three finishers were Bella Caron, Kassadie Oullette and Sandra McMahan.

Volleyball

NASHOBA 3, SHEPHERD HILL 1 » Set scores were 25-14, 2510, 21-25 and 25-19.

Addy Ogden led Nashoba (2-1) with 10 kills, 10 digs and five aces, and 10 digs, while Devyn Wells contribute­d 29 digs.
