‘Winter Lights’ bring joy to dark days

December’s festivitie­s are underway at the Loading Dock Gallery in the thriving Western Avenue Studios and Lofts complex at

122 Western Ave., Lowell, where “Winter Lights,” its annual seasonal celebratio­n, is on through Dec. 31 and open daily, except for Dec. 25-26.

Over the past few years, “Winter Lights” has become a popular, local tradition for holiday shoppers seeking unique, handcrafte­d, gift-worthy art and holiday decoration­s, made and presented by over 30 LDG members and WAS participat­ing artists and artisans.

Visitors are invited to browse through three rooms of beautiful artwork, and drink in the spirit of the season.

“Winter Lights” showcases a juried selection of work by local artists, making it easy and convenient to Shop Local and Small while finding unique and extraordin­ary gifts to make the holidays memorable.
