Taking a lighthearted look at city of Fitchburg’s history
FITCHBURG » The Fitchburg Historical Society is planning a new community trivianight series titled Fitchburg History Trivia Quiz Show, with a kick- off event to be held as part of Civic Days, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, at the museum, at 781 Main St., the Phoenix Building.
“Come watch local celebrities match wits and their knowledge of Fitchburg’s history, with lots of help from the audience, for a casual and fun way to refresh your Fitchburg history knowhow,” said Susan Navarre, executive director of the Fitchburg Historical Society.
“You’ll give your brain a workout with the questions, and we expect people to learn something new from the answers.”
Navarre said there will be four scheduled trivia-nights.
“Each night will have its own theme, with the first one being a Civic Days Edition,” said Navarre. “The emcee and quiz mistress will be Jessie Olson, the new executive director of the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance.
Tickets for each trivia night are $25 and are available at the Fitchburg Historical Society and via EventBrite. Food and beverages from local restaurants is included.
