The Springville Fam­ily His­tory Cen­ter, lo­cated at 415 S. 200 East, has an­nounced its Fe­bru­ary class sched­ule. The sched­ule is as fol­lows: Mon­day, Feb. 8, 10 a.m.: Work­shop, “Find My Past.” Learn and prac­tice the ba­sics of us­ing Find My Past. The work­shop lasts two hours: the first hour is in­struc­tion and the se­cond hour is hands-on learn­ing. It’s a good idea to bring your own fam­ily his­tory to work on.

Wed­nes­day, Feb. 10, noon: Brown Bag We­bi­nar, “Con­sul­tant Train­ing: Us­ing Fam­i­lySearch Part­ners.” Learn how to use the Fam­i­lySearch part­ner sites to help oth­ers and fur­ther your own re­search.

Thurs­day, Feb. 11, 7 p.m.: “Fam­i­lySearch Apps.” An overview of some of the ap­pli­ca­tions that work with Fam­i­lySearch.

Thurs­day, Feb. 11, 7 p.m.: “Find­ing An­ces­tors for Tem­ple Work.” How to iden­tify, pre­pare and take an an­ces­tor to the tem­ple.

Wed­nes­day, Feb. 17, noon: Brown Bag We­bi­nar, “Dis­cover New Re­search Op­por­tu­ni­ties with the MyHer­itage and Fam­i­lySearch Part­ner­ship.” Gain a bet­ter un­der­stand­ing of the re­sources avail­able on MyHer­itage.

Thurs­day, Feb. 18, 7 p.m.: “Re­search Tech­niques Us­ing the Fam­i­lySearch Part­ner Sites.” How to use Fam­i­lySearch Part­ner sites to fur­ther your re­search.

Sun­day, Feb. 28, 7 p.m.: Fam­ily His­tory Con­sul­tant Squad. This group is open to any Fam­ily His­tory Con­sul­tant, High Priest Group Leader (or as­sis­tant as­signed to fam­ily his­tory) and any­one else who holds a fam­ily his­tory call­ing or is a leader in charge of fam­ily his­tory.
