Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead

Saturday, November 3 from 10:30 to 12:30 a.m. at Springvill­e Public Library, 45 S Main St., Springvill­e. Come celebrate the Mexican holiday where dead relatives are remembered and honored. We’ll be watching the movie Coco and there will be a craft and activities. Don’t forget to put your name in the drawing for a door prize! Fun for the whole family. Admission is free!

Fathering with Love and Logic

November 7 and November 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Library, 49 S. Main St, Spanish Fork. This class has a FREE dinner for all fathers that attend it! It’s an excellent class to learn about raising responsibl­e kids and enjoy parenting. Register at the Spanish Fork library.

O.U.R. Gift of Freedom Fundraiser

Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Legends Motorcycle­s, 1715 W 500 S, Springvill­e. O.U.R. volunteers will hold our 2nd Gift of Freedom Fundraiser in the Legend’s Motorcycle Museum venue November 10th. Our fundraiser will benefit Operation Undergroun­d Railroad, a nonprofit organizati­on whose mission is to rescue and rehabilita­te children in the U.S. and around the world from sex traffickin­g.

Diwali Festival of Lights Govardhan Puja

Veterans Day Celebratio­n

Monday, November 12 at 10 a.m. at Timpview High School, 3570 Timpview Dr, Provo. Combined with the efforts of the Freedom Festival, Mayor’s Office, and Veterans Council, Timpview students have prepared a tribute of music, speeches, performanc­es and tributes. Costa Vida will be catering the event and providing a luncheon for our veterans, and their families, after the tribute. Town Hall with John Curtis
