Fall Insect Hike

Which insects are active in autumn? The Crawford Park District invites program participan­ts to hunt for ferocious robber flies and ambush bugs along the woodland edges, look for beautiful Bronze Copper butterflie­s and Milkweed Bugs in the prairie, and search for cherry red Autumn Meadow hawk dragonflie­s around the pond! We will learn about the life cycles of insects and will also discuss where they go in winter. Come explore the trails of Unger Park with Naturalist Chelsea to see what we can discover together! Yoga in the Park

The Crawford Park District invites you to join instructor Kay Smith for an hour of outdoor Yoga with beautiful Lowe-volk Park as the backdrop. Moving gracefully from one pose to the next, while focusing on balance and breath, enjoy a full mindbody experience. Bring your mat and water.
