Insects are very important animals in our natural world. Join Crawford Park District Naturalist Josh Dyer and Mckinley to explore this very diverse group of organisms. Armed with sweep nets, participants will explore Lowe-volk Park trying to capture our sixlegged friends. Nets will be provided. Riddle Me This! Saturday, October 17 5-7pm Lowe-volk Park, 2401 State Route 598
Can you follow your map, to find each checkpoint, while solving a nature-based riddle, and make it out of the woods before dark? This is a self-guided adventure offered by the Crawford Park District, but there will be volunteers along the way if you need some help. There will also be a shorter loop for younger participants, or larger loop for the more adventurous. Please call the Crawford Park District at 419-683-9000 to reserve a spot. Meet Crawford Park District Naturalist Warren Uxley to learn about the mature forest of Heckert.
