ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s International MBA program has been ranked among the top 25 in the country by the online guide Great Business Schools.

The AU program came in at 18th nationwide, third in Ohio and tops among Ohio’s private colleges and universities. The guide noted Ashland has what is “considered one of Ohio’s best international business MBA programs” and pointed out its 12-month completion and two study abroad trips as notable highlights.

“We are thrilled with this recognition from Great Business Schools,” said Dr. Elad Granot, dean of AU’S Dauch College of Business and Economics. “We have great pride in the level of service that Ron Mickler, executive director of the MBA program, and his team provide to students, as well as the academic quality of our programs, and we know that they match up against the best schools in the U.S. It’s important for us -- and our students -- to have the validation in the quality and depth of the business education we provide. An MBA is proven to make job candidates more valuable and hirable, which is especially crucial in today’s economy.”

Great Business Schools developed the rankings according to practical factors like cost, potential salary, and student satisfaction, using data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and Niche. The free online guide takes students from the decision to attend a business school all the way through application and acceptance.
