Plymouth defeats St. Peter’s 55-42

MANSFIELD — Plymouth pulled away in the fourth quarter and snapped a twogame losing streak with Saturday’s 55-42 non-conference boys basketball victory against Mansfield St. Peter’s.

The Big Red led 33-28 after three periods and used a 22-14 surge during the final eight minutes of action to put the game away and improve their record to 3-9 on the winter. The Spartans remain winless at 0-8.

Clayton Miller’s 10 fourth-quarter points keyed PHS and he finished the night with 15.

Seth Goth led the winners with 22 markers and collected 12 of them after the intermissi­on.

Leading St. Peter’s were Gavin Foltz (18) and Albree Grose (11).

Friday evening Plymouth fell to

Norwalk St. Paul 72-45 in a Firelands Conference game.

Miller had 18 in the loss and Josh Beebe scored 14.

Leading the Flyers were Adam Baker (20), Nate Winslow (17), Nick Winslow (15) and Scotty Adelman (10).

Plymouth is back in action Friday night at home against Crestview.
