SHELBY- Mayor Steven Schag provided an update on COVID-19 activity throughout Shelby during his report at the regular city council meeting held on Monday night. Schag explained as of Monday, the Shelby City Health Department had reported five new cases of COVID-19 over the previous six days, as well as seven recovered/resolved cases. ‘Those numbers are very encouraging with five new cases posted over the last six days. The department has documented a total of 765 individuals who have tested positive for COVID19 since the outbreak began last March. Of that cumulative number, 726 individuals have obtained recovered/resolved status. There have been 30 documented COVID-19 deaths
