Anne Therese Pfahler, age 88, died April 9, 2021 at West View Healthy Living in Wooster OH.

Born January 10, 1933 in Shelby to John & Marguerite (Mott) Peyssard, she had been a Shelby area resident the majority of her life. She was a 1950 Graduate of Shelby High School and was owner operator of Anne’s Creative Crafts for ten years. She was then employed as head designer with Alta Greenhouse for many years and later had worked at Lexington Floral. Anne was a talented artist who specialize­d in quilling and was involved with the Blackfork Players as an actress and set designer. She, along with her husband Edwin, crafted Ohio State Buckeyes memorabili­a. She was a charter member of the Twig Benders Mothers Club and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mansfield. Anne enjoyed traveling, floral gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Brian Pfahler of Laverne , CA, and Marla Beal and fiancé Gary Hennie of Lodi, OH; eight grandchild­ren, Nicholas (Stephanie), Zachary (Jessica) and London Pfahler and Jason (Misti) and Jessica Morgan, Chad (Rachael) Hennie, Megan (Adam) Birow and Melissa Hennie; eight great-grandchild­ren; one sister, Jane Wetzel of Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Edwin Pfahler; one sister Marie Biglin; daughter in law Terri Pfahler; one granddaugh­ter Brooke Pfahler; and brother in law Jerry Wetzel.

Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Dave Purdy.
