Familiar venue- exciting things coming to Shelby
SHELBY- The new Legends is coming soon. It will be in the same building but under new ownership and management.
J.J. Jackson is the new owner and Jennifer Stidam is the new kitchen manager. Starting Monday, November 15th they will be serving breakfast from 6 am to 11 am. Home-cooked food with healthy portions will be the theme. Jackson said, “We want our customers to experience the wow factor’. When they are served their food, hopefully, they will be wowed by the amount and taste of the home-cooked product.”
Future breakfast specials are in the planning along with dinner specials. A total new menu will be available with affordable prices and lots of food.
Jackson has over 35 years of restaurant experience.
He has been an owner/operator in the Akron area for many years. He was born and raised in Akron but came to this area when he purchased and co-owns the MVP Sports Bar in Mansfield.
Jackson said he wants customers to feel welcome at Legends from the time they walk in and feel a warm atmosphere. Stidam’s bubbly personality will make the customers feel at home as they eat food that tastes like home.
Legends has a new look with bright colored walls and new flooring. New menus are available with some exciting new dishes, such as Manly Meals, Off the Grid, Old Traditions, Lightweights, and fresh omelets for breakfast.
For lunch
and/ or dinner there is Batter Up appetizers, Farm Team salads, First String Pastas, Touchdown sandwiches and wraps, Meat of the order burgers, and world-famous Smokin’ with Faz pulled pork, brisket, or signature ribs.
Jackson stated some of the staff will be the same and he commented the new and previous staff are already working well together. He feels he has a great team working to give Shelby its best in fine dining, entertainment, and a pleasant night out. Live entertainment is in the process of being organized for future dates.
J.J. and Jennifer are looking forward to serving the Shelby community and making everyone feel right at home at the new Legends.
