- By MINDY MCKENZIE Daily Globe News Editor

RICHLAND Countyrichland County residents can celebrate the holiday cheer of the season with a variety of activities taking place throughout the rest of November into December.

Christmas at Kingwood is making its return this year starting on November 27-December 30. This will be held Tuesday-sunday from 4-9 p.m.

This unique spot in Richland County has a Trail of Lights that features around 200 string light trees with over 101,000 LED bulbs. The trees range in sizes from four feet high, all the way up to 28 feet high. Throughout the Kingwood grounds, there are over seven linear miles of lights.

The decorations continue at the Kingwood Hall mansion with a theme of ‘Home for the Holidays.’ The decorations inside the mansion were all completed by local garden clubs and volunteers. Also, for the very first time this year Kingwood has decorated the hall and the bedrooms on the third floor.
