David Guy Cline, age 74, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Ohiohealth Mansfield, following a brief illness.

Born May 11, 1947, in Mansfield to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Mcclellan) Cline, he was a 1965 graduate of Madison High School. David was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a true patriot, taking great pride in his military service and always proud to be an American. After his military service he worked in glass production with Pittsburgh Plated Glass for thirty-five years until his retirement.

Dave collected antique cars and enjoyed attending cruise ins. He was a tinker-er, good at everything he attempted, there was nothing that he could not fix. Notably, he was an incredible woodworker and ever year he made a beautiful ornament for his wife, Alice. Dave was also very involved with his grandchildren. He was their number one sports fan and was always playing with them; you could often find him playing on the floor, taking them for rides in his antique cars, or playing in the backyard.

Survivors include his wife, Alice (Bryant) Cline, whom he married on June 20, 1970; a daughter, Monica (Troy) Baker of Shelby; six grandchildren, Mackenzi Cline, Logen Cline, Camren Cline, Haylee Baker, Olivia Baker, and Bryson Baker; and two sisters, Marie Vincent of Madison, and Phyllis (Kenneth) Harrison of Madison; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Cline, and an infant sister, Eileen Cline.
