-

MANSFIELD, OHIO. Under the direction of Lori Turner, the Renaissance Theatre will present the Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre (RYOT) Workshop Showcase on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 7:00 PM. The Showcase will be presented as a stageon-stage production at the Renaissance and is a part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series. General admission tickets are $10 for adults, and $5.00 for students, and are on sale now at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone, and online at rentickets.org.

What’s better than a fully staged musical? Fully staged scenes from lots and LOTS of musicals (and plays)! Designed to focus on the individual performer, the RYOT Workshop Showcase offers opportunities for young actors to work one on one and in small ensembles with director Lori Turner and other guest professionals to develop and grow vocal skills, hone their acting chops, and perform in smaller cast settings.

Offered as an opportunity for participation by students in second through twelfth grade, the workshop features performers in two age groups (2nd Grade –6th Grade; and 7th Grade –12th Grade). This year’s showcase features the talents of twenty students, including Brooklyn Abbruzzese, Gage Anderson, Wyatt Bechstein, Steve Bechtol, Kara Bradley, Ellis Black, Lori Casto, Lillian Clapp, Isla Donley, Milo Mcdonald, Jackie Metz, Breckelle Miller, Saige Painley, Alyssa Racer, Elizabeth Rivers, Caroline Secrist, Alex Trolian, Sloane Walter, Halle Williams, and Mackenzie Wynn.
