Johnny Warren Hill, 74, of Maysville, Ark., died Aug. 19, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettevil­le, Ark. He was born Jan. 13, 1942, in Maysville, Ark., to Johnny Fred and Jessie Roberts Hill.

He was a lifelong area resident and a 1960 graduate of Gravette High School. In 1964, he was drafted into the United States Army serving in Korea. After being honorably discharged he returned home to Maysville, where he worked as a carpenter and farmer. He was also employed for several years at the Southwest City Feed Mill. He married Etta Campbell on Feb. 7, 1975. He enjoyed fishing, horses, rodeos and watching football. He attended the Maysville Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife; three children, Johnetta Hill of Maysville, David Hill of Maysville and Justin Hill of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; three grandchild­ren; and a sister, Gwen Singleton of Maysville, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at the Maysville Missionary Baptist Church in Maysville with Raymond Scott officiatin­g. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Maysville Cemetery.

Memorials are being directed to Maysville Missionary Baptist Church and contributi­ons may be left at the Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City, Mo.
