Harvard Avenue Baptist Church
Harvard Avenue Baptist Church’s mission is to connect all people to Christ, his community, and his calling. People who are not currently attending a local church or have recently moved into the community, are invited to attend the church on Sunday mornings. The worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and the church is located at 760 South Lincoln Street in Siloam Springs. The church also provide weekly ministries for children and students. Awana registration
Eastgate Baptist Church in Siloam Springs will be having Awana registration Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. Awana will take place each Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Children ages 4 through sixth grade grade will learn the Bible through devotion, Bible memorization, and games. Children’s Choir School
The Grace Children’s Choir School (GCCS) is open for enrollment. GCCS, under the direction of Terri Wubbena. The GCCS will meet during the 2015-2016 academic year at Grace Episcopal Church on Mondays from 4 to 5 p.m. starting Aug. 29. GCCS follows the Royal School of Church Music curriculum and is open to all students in grades second through eighth. Mothering Matters
Mothering Matters holds meetings the first and third Fridays of each month, September through May, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Siloam Springs Bible Church. The first meeting is Friday, Sept. 2. Mothering Matters is a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church designed to encourage mothers of young children. Quality, loving childcare by skilled, background-checked child care workers is offered during monthly meetings to children age infant through pre-kindergarten as well as homeschoolers.
Ladies Bible Study
Women are invited to an 10-week Bible study covering the books Judges and Ruth. Two classes are offered on Thursdays: 9 to 11 a.m. or 6:30 to 8:15 p.m., beginning Sept. 8. The class is taught by Laura Macfarlan and held at First Baptist Church. Childcare is provided for the morning class only. The Patriarchs
First Baptist Church is offering a second Bible study — The Patriarchs: Discovering the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by Beth Moore. The class will be offered on Thursdays: 9 to 11 a.m. in The Parlor beginning Sept. 8. The class is taught by Cassie Perryman. Childcare is provided. Workbooks are $17.50. FBC Siloam Awana
First Baptist Church Siloam Springs is beginning an Awana program this fall. Awana is for children ages 4 through 6th grade and focuses learning the Bible through games and memorization. GriefShare Support Group

Share the Warmth
The office of My Family Eye Care is accepting new and gently used coats and sweaters to help those in need during cold weather. Clothes will be cleaned and then distributed through Eastgate Church of Christ’s clothing giveaway on the first Friday night of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Contributions can be made to My Family Eye Care at 820 State Line Road, Snappy Dry Cleaners at 618 S. Holly Street, or at Eastgate Church of Christ at 1997 Highway 412. All sizes of clothing are needed, especially children’s sizes.
Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary
Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary Catholic Church provides free meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the fourth Friday of each month. Veterans, the homeless, needy, elderly, unemployed, lonely and any families with children are invited to the free home-cooked meal. The church is located at 1998 U.S. Highway 412 next to 2 B’s Auto Sales. For more information or to donate call 524-8642.
Singing and Food
Singing and food will be available the last Saturday night of every month at Canaan Land Ministries located at 6471 U.S. Highway 412 West. Food will be served at 5 p.m. followed by singing at 6 p.m. There will also be door prizes and auction items. Everyone is invited and those who sing or play music are invited to come join in.
