Lady Panthers rebound from loss, sweep Clarksvill­e

Siloam Springs bounced back from a tough loss on Tuesday at Harrison to sweep Clarksvill­e 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-11) in a 6A/5A-1 Conference volleyball match on Thursday inside the Panther Activity Center.

Shaylon Sharp led the Lady Panthers (9-10, 6-3) with 11 kills along with eight aces. Chloe Price had eight kills, 14 assists and 10 digs, while Ellie Lampton had six kills and three aces, Allie Bowman four kills and seven digs, Madison Cooper two kills and five digs, Alexis Roach and Katie Kendrick one kill each.

Meg Gray had 14 assists, while Andrea Lowry had 17 digs and three aces. Kelsey Lewis added seven digs.

Harrison 3, Siloam Springs 2

HARRISON — Siloam Springs couldn’t hold on to a 2-0 lead and wound up losing to Harrison 3-2 (18-25, 18-25, 25-17, 25-19, 15-11) in a 6A/5A-1 Conference match on Tuesday.

Ellie Lampton led the Lady Panthers with 15 kills, six block assists and six aces, while Shaylon Sharp had 11 kills, 18 digs, four aces and two block assists. Chloe Price had nine kills, 12 assists, 11 digs, three blocks and four aces.

Meg Gray had 23 assists, three aces and one kill, while Madison Cooper had three kills and two block assists. Elise Scarbrough and Katie Kendrick each had three block assists. Allie Bowman had two kills.

Andrea Lowry led defensivel­y with 50 digs, while Kelsey Lewis had 35 digs.

Up next

The Lady Panthers participat­ed in the Fort Smith Tournament. Results were not available at presstime. Siloam Springs returns to action Tuesday at Alma.
