Larry Raymond Byrd

Larry Raymond Byrd, 52, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Nov. 14, 2016, at his home.

He was born Feb. 13, 1964, in Omaha, Neb., to Lurtis O’Neil Byrd and Patricia Ann O’Dell. He worked in Conway, Ark., as a welder at the IC Bus Plant. He moved to Siloam Springs in January 2014. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three children, LaQuitta Easter of Perry, Ark., William Byrd and Karyn Byrd, both of Stilwell, Okla.; two grandsons; and three sisters, Rita Gray of Morrilton, Ark., Helen Haddock of Plainview, Neb., and Theresa Renner of Gulfport, Miss.

Lizzie Mae Maxine Larmon

Lizzie Mae “Maxine” Larmon, 90, of Colcord, Okla., died Nov. 15, 2016, at Quail Ridge Rehabilita­tion and Living Center.

She was born June 1, 1926, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Jay Wilkerson and Christena Bishop Wilkerson. She married Lydle “Buzz” Larmon on May 25, 1943, in Siloam Springs, Ark. She was a homemaker and worked as a cook for Colcord Schools. She was a member of Mosley Baptist Church and DAV Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by two sons, Don Larmon and wife Jennifer of Colcord, and Dennis Larmon and wife Kathy of Henderson, N.C.; one daughter, Tena Andrews and husband Terry of Colcord; five grandchild­ren; nine great-grandchild­ren; four great-great-grandchild­ren; and one brother, Kenneth Wilkerson and wife Sylestia of Colcord.

Graveside services were Nov. 19, 2016, at Allen Cemetery in Colcord, with Larry Ellis officiatin­g.

Carl Edwin Love

Carl Edwin Love, 79, of Westville, Okla., died Nov. 15, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

He was born Jan. 26, 1937, in Childress, Texas, to Kelley Love and Annie Love. He graduated from Childress High School. He married Janette Moore on Feb. 6, 1976, in Jal, N.M. He worked as a truck driver, a production manager in the oil field and a cattle rancher. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #549 in Westville, the National Rifle Associatio­n, and Cattleman’s Associatio­n.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy Love.

He is survived by his wife; five children, Victor Love and wife Laurie of Texas, Suzanna Love, Michael Dale Stiles and wife Chona of Texas, Rebecca Farguson and husband Kent of Westville, and LaVon Carter and husband Dan of Texas; six grandchild­ren; two great-grandchild­ren; and one brother, Raymond Love and wife Katrinka of Childress.

Funeral services were Nov. 19, 2016, at Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla., with Pastor Richard Ryan officiatin­g. Burial was at Westville City Cemetery.

Carmel Robason

Carmel Robason, 78, died Nov. 14, 2016.

She was born Dec. 10, 1937, in Lamesa, Texas.

She married D.O. Robason on May 16, 1954. She was a homemaker and her husband managed several ranches in Texas. They lived on the Island Grove Ranch west of Grandview for more than 40 years. She enjoyed handcrafts and was a member of Sew & Sew Quilting Club in Grandview for years – leaving behind many beautiful quilts for the family.

She was known for ministerin­g to the less fortunate, and enjoyed participat­ing in Bible studies, reading her Bible and praying. She started and managed libraries for the churches she attended.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years.

She is survived by three sons, Ricky Dean Robason of Covington, Texas, Michael Ross Robason and wife Laura of Lamesa, Texas, and Troy Don Robason and wife Christine of Elizabeth, Colo.; six grandchild­ren; and one great-grandson.

She will be buried at Green Acres Memorial Park in Cleburne, Texas, in a private ceremony.

Walter “Levi” Smart

Walter “Levi” Smart, 18, of Watts, Okla., died Nov. 10, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

He was born Nov. 27, 1997, in Watts, the son of Robert Smart and Misti Mallory Smart. He was home schooled and graduated. He worked for DSM constructi­on. He was a member of Faith Holiness Church in Westville, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r, Robert Smart.

He is survived by his parents, Jason and Misti of Watts; brother, Abe Smart and wife Carissa of Stilwell, Okla.; sister, Arionna Smart of Watts; maternal grandparen­ts, David and Carole Mallory of Watts; paternal grandmothe­r, Barbara Lee of Sallisaw, Okla.; and great-grandfathe­r, Jack Williams of Westville.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at Faith Holiness Church in, Westville. Burial will follow at Westville City Cemetery in Westville.
