Friendship Pediatric Services, 918 S. Mt. Olive Priority violations:
• Employee washed hands and put on gloves then put on hair restraint. Corrected. Employee re-washed and re-gloved. Nonpriority violations:
• Persons unnecessary to the retail food establishment operation are not allowed in the food preparation area. Teacher that was not part of the food preparation staff was in the kitchen during food preparation and opened the cupboard without washing hands first and washed an item intended for personal use at the same time.
Birra-Vino’s, 1004 Suite-0 S. Mt. Olive Priority violations:
• Employee did not wash hands after putting on apron and touching face. Corrected.
• Food on ice is not at 41°F or below. When using ice to be effective, the ice must be at or above the level of food. Food destroyed as needed.
• Refrigerated prep table is not holding food at 41°F or below on the right hand side. Be sure there is proper air flow throughout the unit. Keep lids closed when not in use.
• Not all items date marked as needed.

Hampton Inn, 2171 Ravenwood Plaza Priority violations:
• Demonstration of knowledge of food safety not evident throughout the facility or by appropriate responses and actions. Nonpriority violations:
• Food workers shall wear hair restraints.
• Some utensils were placed directly on a towel and not in the drain rack. Do not place items directly on a towel. Items re-sanitized as needed. Repeat violation.
Quality Inn, 1300 Highway 412 West Priority violations:
• Employee did not lather with soap long enough before rinsing off soap. Lather for 10-15 seconds before rinsing off soap. Nonpriority violations:
• Interior of juice machine has spilled juice. Clean interior of unit.

Priority violations:
• Food prepared and delivered by the Senior Center. Items cool during preparation, individual packaging and delivery. Items delivered in a thermo bag with a hot pack inside.
McDonald’s, 2901 Highway 412 East Priority violations:
• Employee did not wash hands after handling raw meat before changing tasks. Hand washing is required between task changes. Corrected.
• Stick butter exceeded the use-by time. Destroyed. Nonpriority violations:
• No sanitizer concentration in wet-wiping-cloth buckets. Corrected.

Long John Silver’s, 525 Highway 412 West Priority violations:
• Employee did not wash hands between task change and glove change. Corrected.
• Dishes in sanitizer but the sanitizer was not strong enough. Sink water changed which corrected the problem.
• Interior of prep tables in kitchen and front have an accumulation of debris on the top and lower portions of the units.
• Interior of ice machine is not clean.
• Not all foods are being held at 41°F or below. Coleslaw top of unit in pan is 43°F. Portioned coleslaw in bottom of unit is 53°F on the top and 45°F in the bottom. Items destroyed or removed as needed.
• Hot dogs not date marked. Nonpriority violations:
• Some containers are cracked/broken or heat blistered. Containers are no longer in good condition and need to be replaced.
• Area behind the ice machine is not clean. Wall behind the three-compartment sink is not clean.
• Excessive ice build-up on the floor in the walk-in freezer and around the door. Ice starting to get under the walk-in cooler floor causing it to buckle.
• Tile missing at the floor/ wall junction around the mop sink and the opposite wall. This allows for standing stagnant water and cannot be easily cleaned. Area around the mop sink is not in good condition.
• Sprayer at three-compartment sink will not shut off at all. There is a leak in the faucet on the threecompartment sink.
