Mary Kathryn “Toadie” Ford

Mary Kathryn “Toadie” Ford, 95, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Dec. 24, 2016, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1921, in Pratt, Kan., to Jennie Scarbrough Hutchinson. She was later adopted by the only father she remembered, Ernest Hildreth. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, where for decades she provided the flowers at the pulpit out of her own garden.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Anne Russell; and one sister, Betty Anne Torrence.

She is survived by one daughter, Stephania and husband John Brown III of Siloam Springs; seven grandchild­ren; and 16 great-grandchild­ren.

Burial was conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Glenda June Wing-King

Glenda June Wing-King, 79, of Decatur, Ark., died Dec. 25, 2016.

She was born in Marlow, Okla., to Earl and Patie Hix. She married Dalton “Bud” Wing on Sept. 4, 1954, and made her home in Westlake, La. She and her husband moved to Decatur in 1972. After her husband died in May of 2000, she married Al King of Brownsvill­e, Tenn. She enjoyed music, family dinners, live shows, traveling and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Bud Wing; second husband Al King; and a son, Gary Wing.

She is survived by three children, Larry Wing, Cheryl Bowman and Tony Wing; four stepdaught­ers, Linda Hilton, Katie Lomax, Alice Labeeb and Pam Hackerman; numerous grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren; two brothers, Marvin and Marion Hix; and a sister, Aileen Colosky.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur, Ark., followed by a celebratio­n service at 11:30 a.m. at Falling Springs Church.

Dolores J. Keigley

Dolores J. Keigley, 78, of Grove, Okla., died Dec. 24, 2016, at Colcord, Okla.

She was born June 28, 1938, at Utica, N.Y., to Albert DiRoberto and Antoinette Marino DiRoberto. She married Gilbert “Junior” Keigley in 1958. She was a retired officer Manager.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her grandson and nephew.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise Hassett and husband Michael of Colcord, and Martha Wright and husband Bill of Bartesvill­e, Okla.; a son, Michael Keigley and wife Ruth of Hampton, Va.; 10 grandchild­ren; seven great-grandchild­ren; a sister, Domenica Borruso of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a brother, Joseph DiRoberto of Grafton, Mass.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Dec. 31, 2016, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn, Ark.

Keith Leroy Leatherman

Keith Leroy Leatherman, 56, of Colcord, Okla., died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at his home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1960, in Perryton, Texas, to Paul and Doris Leatherman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making knives, collecting guns, playing games and he always enjoyed making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his daughter, Marla Leatherman.

He is survived by his mother, of Tahlequah, Okla.; his wife, Joyce Leatherman of the home; a son Brandon Keith Leatherman of Colcord; a daughter, Ashley Marie Leatherman of Colcord; two sisters, Kathy Weese of Welling, Okla., and Karen Mullican of Tahlequah; and two grandchild­ren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Church of Christ in Colcord, with Pastor Larry Ellis officiatin­g. Burial will be at Row Cemetery in Colcord.

Loretta Joy Lawson

Loretta Joy Lawson, 91, of Colcord, Okla., died Dec. 23, 2016, at her home.

She was born May 31, 1925, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Jess Robertson and Daisy Hedrick Robertson. She married Raymon Lawson on June 24, 1942, in Siloam Springs at the fair. She was a homemaker and also worked for a short time as a census taker and for Brand Rex. She was a member of the Union Quilters Club and Grange. She was a member of Union Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one granddaugh­ter, Cathleen Duncan; and one sister, Nadine Hansen.

She is survived by three children, Catherine Duncan and husband Ronald of Colcord, Dorothy Smith of Wichita, Kan., and Don Lawson and wife Linda of Siloam Springs; eight grandchild­ren; 18 greatgrand­children; 12 greatgreat-grandchild­ren; and two sisters, Wynona McCown of Hilmar, Calif., and Retha Allen of Pryor, Okla.

Funeral services were Dec. 27, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Larry Ellis and Pastor Mike Tinkler officiatin­g. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Cleo V. Londagin

Cleo V. Londagin, 88, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., died Dec. 24, 2016, at Arkansas Veterans Home in Fayettevil­le.

He was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Gentry, Ark., to Jay Londagin and Mattie Brown Londagin. He retired from Simmons Industries after 23 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a great sports fan and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks.

He was preceded in death by a son, Marty Vel Londagin; a sister, Jan Baker; and a brother, Leon Londagin.

He is survived by a daughter, Kim Hudson and husband David of Stilwell, Okla.; a sister, Wanda Spears of Farmington, Ark.; a brother, Johnny Londagin of Grove, Okla.; five grandsons; and seven great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le. An online guestbook is available at www. wassonfune­ralhome.com.

Glenna “Inez” Long

Glenna “Inez” Long, 91, of Springfiel­d, Mo., and formerly of Highfill, Ark., died on Dec. 25, 2016.

She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Sonora, Ark., to Addison Catlett Creek and Clara Smith Creek. She was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas.

She and her husband, Gordon Long, had a farm near Highfill, Ark., where they raised cattle, chickens and apples. They had an apple packing facility and they employed many area people to work for them in the summer. After they sold the farm and retired, she started working for the Gentry Public Schools as a teacher’s aide in the elementary school. This was one of her favorite things because she loved the children and the teachers she worked with. She also loved flowers and loved working in her rose garden. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Highfill, was on the advisory board for Arvest Bank and was active at the Gentry Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and brother and sister-in-law, J.B. Creek and wife Lillian of Arcata, Calif.

She is survived by three children, Patsy Setser and husband Ron of Tulsa, Okla., Helen Beeman and husband Dan of Springfiel­d, and Harold Long of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; eight grandchild­ren; eight great-grandchild­ren; and one brother, George Creek and wife Neva of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Highfill from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Douglas Cemetery in Highfill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Research Foundation and/or The Gentry Senior Center.
