Giles Wesley Cochran
Giles Wesley Cochran, 78, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Dec. 26, 2016.
He was born Dec. 19, 1938, at Mountain View, Mo., to Richard Cochran and Ruth Smith Cochran.
He married Dorothy Jean Gould on June 28, 1969. He was a maintenance supervisor for Gates and a private contractor. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Sherry; and a sister, Marilyn.
He is survived by two daughters, Annette Freeman of Springdale, Ark., and Yvonne Temple and husband Tim of Gentry, Ark.; two sons, Paul Clingerman of Farmington, N.Y., and Wes Clingerman of Honolulu, Hawaii; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Mike Cochran.
Funeral services were Dec. 31, 2016, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Doris Allene Gann Mitchell
Doris Allene Gann Mitchel, 89, died Dec. 31, 2016, at The Maples Nursing Home in Springdale, Ark.
She was born on Nov. 4, 1927, in a farm house in Cassville, Mo., to Gerald Austin Gann and Alma Jane Stockton Gann. She attended high school in Pueblo, Colo., and college at St. Johns College in Winfield, Kan. She was a teacher for more than 30 years, spending much of her career working at First Lutheran School in Fort Smith, Ark. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1979 after retiring from teaching.
She is survived by one son, Michael Mitchell and wife Denise R. Mitchell of Rogers, Ark.; three grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark. A celebration of life and funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Siloam Springs, with Father Salvador Marquez-Munoz officiating. Burial will be at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry, Ark.

Anita Garman
Anita Garman, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Jan. 2, 2017, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
She was born May 21, 1937, in Dickens, Texas, to Pete and Bessie Jones. She married Howard Delbert Garman on Feb. 28, 1954, in Gravette, Ark. She was an X-ray technician and a medical assistant. She enjoyed doing crafts, was involved for several years with the Phoenix (Ariz.) Fire Department, and taught Sunday school for several year in Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jealetta Minx.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sherry Elaine GarmanMiller of Siloam Springs; a son, Randy Howard Garman of Prescott, Ariz., 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Erlene Westbrook of Conway, Ark., and Trudy Cotton of Quapaw, Okla.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at the Siloam Springs Bible Church with Pastor Bruce Boehmer officiating.

Kenneth Randall “Randy” Phillips
Kenneth Randall “Randy” Phillips, 53, of Gentry, Ark., and longtime resident of Searcy, Ark., died Dec. 30, 2016, at his home.
He was born May 30, 1963, in Springdale, Ark., to Jimmy Ray Phillips and Mary Darlene Pettit. He graduated high school in Earle, Ark. He worked as an auto body mechanic for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jimmy Richard Phillips.
He is survived by one sister, Patsy Wilson and husband Jimmy of Jonesboro, Ark.; two sons, Jonathan and John; two grandchildren; two stepsisters, Michelle Camadaca and Donna Reno; and his stepfather, Donald Pettit.
A graveside service was held Jan. 2, 2017, at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Ark., with Pastor Donald Pettit officiating.

Jimmie Gale Caywood
Jimmie Gale Caywood, 78, died Dec. 26, 2016, at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born March 16, 1938, in Bakersfield, Calif., to “Toge” Caywood and Cleo Carrington Caywood. He moved to Siloam Springs in 1955 and graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1956. He married his high school sweetheart Wanda Nell Ward on Jan. 19, 1957, and the couple made their home in Tulsa.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jerry and wife Beverly, and Joe and wife Lisa; a daughter, Joni and husband Orville; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Dec. 30, 2016, at Plainview Baptist Church in Tulsa. Burial was at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla.
