Kansas junior powerlifters turn in strong performance
The Kansas (Okla.) Junior High powerlifting team competed in a meet Wednesday in Wyandotte, Okla.
More than 44 Comets competed and 34 received medals.
The seventh-grade and ninth-grade teams won first place at the meet, while the eighth-grade team took second place.
The Kansas teams will compete in a meet at Afton on Feb. 16 with the high school meet, also at Afton, on Feb. 17.
