Sherolyn Elizabeth Sutcliffe, 87, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Feb. 28, 2017, at her home.

She was born Feb. 15, 1930, in Dwight, Ill., to Eugene Rich LaValle and Erna Kiplinger LaValle. She graduated from St. Petersburg (Fla.) High School in 1947. She met her husband Don Sutcliffe in St. Petersburg and they were married Dec. 18, 1950. They moved to Hemet, Calif., in 1963 and later lived in Vancouver, Wash., Casa Grande, Ariz., and Pagosa Springs, Colo., before moving to Siloam Springs. After high school, she began her career as a model at local department stores before becoming a service representa­tive at telephone companies in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Fla., and Pagosa Springs, Colo. In later years she and her husband were in the antique business. She was a volunteer at the Manna Center, Siloam Springs Regional Hospital and the “Senior Circle.”

She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Frohm.

She is survived by her husband; two children, Lisa Bowen and husband Mark of Tulsa, Okla., and Stephen Sutcliffe and wife Angie of Orlando, Fla.; one grandson; and two greatgrand­children.
