Elizabeth Elliot Andoe

Elizabeth Elliot Andoe, infant daughter of Nicholas Andoe and Ashley Beck Andoe, died March 1, 2017, at California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, Calif.

She is survived by her parents; maternal grandparen­ts, Bill and Raquel Beck of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and paternal grandparen­ts, Scot and Joanie Andoe of Tulsa, Okla.

A memorial mass was held on Friday, March 24, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Siloam Springs. Burial was at Row Cemetery in Colcord, Okla.

Marilyn Anne Cox

Marilyn Anne Cox, 74-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died March 19, 2017, at her home. Born March 22, 1942, in Siloam Springs, she was the daughter of James Merritt Wells and Frances Ruth Klopfenste­in Wells. Marilyn lived most of her life in Siloam Springs. She worked as an appliance salesperso­n for Sears in Fayettevil­le, Ark., for many years. In the last few years, she had worked at Walgreen’s in Siloam Springs. She was a member of First Presbyteri­an Church in Siloam Springs. Marilyn dearly loved her two cats, Spunky and Little Bit, very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wells and Frances Wells.

She is survived by two sisters, Suzanne Thomas and husband Philip of Wynnewood, Okla., and Carolyn Gilman and husband Jim of San Dimas, Calif.; one brother, Curt Wells of Siloam Springs; her sister-in-law, Suzy Wells of Siloam Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Tim Estes officiatin­g. Morice Darrell Crowder

Morice Darrell Crowder, 87, of Springdale, Ark., died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1930 in Whittier, Calif., to Samuel Raymond Crowder and Bessie May Proctor Crowder.

He began his military career in the Merchant Marines serving as a Junior Assistant Purser. He then enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean War. He continued serving in the Army during the Vietnam War and worked in intelligen­ce at the Pentagon. He retired as a Master Sergeant. He earned his master’s degrees in both English and as a psychologi­cal analyst. In later years he worked with the U.S. Forest Service, where he was a job corp youth counselor. He was a longtime member of the Springdale American Legion Post 139.

He is survived by four children, Eric Crowder of Yucaipa, Calif., Gregory Crowder of Tulsa, Okla., Cynthia Rooney of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Amie Brown of Westville, Okla.; a sister, Dorothy Vance of California; seven grandchild­ren and five greatgrand­children.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
