Barbara Jane Hall

Barbara Jane Hall of Heavener, Oklahoma, was born November 28, 1935, in Valliant, Oklahoma, to Gordon and Maude (Mills) Davis and passed away April 3, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 81.

She is survived by two sons, Brian Hall of Heavener, Oklahoma, and Craig Hall and wife Trish of Heavener, Oklahoma; one granddaugh­ter, Michaela Carr and husband C.J. of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one step-grandson, Dalton Morris of Poteau, Oklahoma; two great-granddaugh­ters, Khloe Morris of Heavener, Oklahoma and Braylee Morris of Howe, Oklahoma; and three brothers-in-law, Jim Hall of Poteau, Oklahoma, Joe Hall of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Jim Wisdom of Miami, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; his parents, Ray and Rena Hall; one sister, Mary Ann Wallin; and a step-grandson, Michael Dillan Morris.

Barbara was a former vice president of the State National Bank of Heavener, a board member of the State National Bank and First National Bank, and was an awardwinni­ng quilter. She was a member of the Belle Point Quilters Guild, Internatio­nal Quilters Associatio­n, American Quilters Society, and the Clearingho­use Guild. Barbara was named Citizen of the Year in 1986, she served on the Heavener Cemetery Associatio­n Board, and was an active member of the Heavener Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Faithbridg­e Methodist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Faithbridg­e Methodist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma, with the Reverend Lisa Leigh Miller officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearer­s will be Ralph Perdue Jr., Buddy Kelly, Marty Hinds, Andy Perdue, Jim Winters and Eddie Freeman. Curtis Kelly will be an honorary pallbearer.

Viewing was from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday, and will be from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family visiting with friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lottie Nast

Lottie Nast, age 87, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away April 2, 2017. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa., to Peter and Minna (Alschner) Faltin.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Nast, and is survived by her three children, Peter Nast of Durango, Colo., Laurie MacAdam of Champaign, Ill., and Paul Nast, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren; and two great-grandchild­ren.

A service to celebrate her life will be on Thursday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m. in the Convocatio­n Room at Butterfiel­d Trail Village, Fayettevil­le, Ark., with the Rev. Lance Brewer officiatin­g. Please park in the Lodge parking lot with shuttle service to the main entrance. All are welcome.

Perry Edward Williams

Perry Edward Williams, 85, of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, died April 2, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Arkansas. Born October 11, 1931, in Carney, Oklahoma, he was the son of Hurley Williams and Maggie (Hagar) Williams.

Perry and Norma Jean were married August 28, 1953. He was owner and operator of A&W Truck Service for 50 years and Siloam Springs Ready Mix Concrete for 15 years. Perry was also a former Delaware County deputy sheriff and he raised Black Angus beef cattle.

He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Wayne Williams; five brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his son, Larry Williams and wife Peggy of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; daughter, Jayne Galloway and Franklin Richardson of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; grandchild­ren, Lisa Galloway of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Derrick Williams of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Megan Oaks of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Emily Konieczny of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; greatgrand­children, Braxton Galloway, Ericka Galloway and Reagan Konieczny; sister-in-law, Patsy Freeze; and brother-inlaw Poker Hightower.

Pallbearer­s will be Derrick Williams, Kenny Ahrens, Johnny Mac Lindgren, Jim Henagar, Orval Wilkinson, Jessie Birkes. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Bruce Rutherford, Jim Kuykendall, Mark Eldmen, Danny Williams, Richard Williams, Al Milner, Rex Earl Starr and Harold McCain.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
