National Day of Prayer

Siloam Springs annual National Day of Prayer service will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at First Presbyteri­an Church, located at the corner of Broadway and Ashley Streets across from the city administra­tion building. The service includes a time of praise singing and prayer for various areas of our local and national life. If the weather is good, the service will be held on the lawn, otherwise it will move inside to the worship space.

All Things New

Harvard Avenue Baptist Church will offer an eightweek women’s Bible study on 2 Corinthian­s — All Things New — written and taught by author and songwriter Kelly Minter. The study time, which includes breakfast and discussion, is from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. Books will be available at the first meeting. For more informatio­n, call 501-4255917.

Celtic Evensong with Holy Eucharist

A Celtic Evensong with Holy Eucharist service will be offered at Grace Episcopal Church, Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. This Celtic worship service celebrates liturgical traditions drawn from Iona and Northumbri­a, celebratin­g simplicity, meditation, music and community. This service welcomes worshipers from other faith traditions, as well as those with little to no religious background. All are welcome.

Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary

Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary Catholic Church provides free meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Friday of each month. Veterans, the homeless, needy, elderly, unemployed, lonely and any families with children are invited to the free homecooked meal. The church is located at 1998 U.S. Highway 412 next to 2 B’s Auto Sales. For more informatio­n or to donate call 524-8642.

Community Women’s Bible Study

Community Women’s Bible Study, an interdenom­inational gathering, will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays at Sager Creek Community Church, 1600 Cheri Whitlock Dr. in Siloam Springs. The group will be studying “A Beautiful Design: God’s Unchanging Plan for Manhood and Womanhood” by Matt Chandler. Study guides will be available to purchase at the first meeting. KidsTime children’s program will be available for a small charge for infants through 5 years old.
