Siloam Springs Toast­mas­ters Club

The Siloam Springs Toast­mas­ters Club meets each Thurs­day of ev­ery month at DaySpring Cor­po­rate Of­fices from 12 to 1 p.m. Guests are wel­come. The Toast­mas­ters pro­gram of­fers many ben­e­fits that help peo­ple in all walks of life. As a re­sult of par­tic­i­pat­ing in Toast­mas­ters, mem­bers:

• In­crease self-con­fi­dence

• Be­come a bet­ter speaker

• Be­come a bet­ter leader

• Com­mu­ni­cate more ef­fec­tively

Some com­pa­nies re­im­burse their em­ploy­ees for mem­ber­ship dues and give hourly credit to­ward em­ployee train­ing. The club wel­comes any lo­cal com­pany in­ter­ested in host­ing a demo meet­ing to con­tact the club.

Breast cancer sup­port group

The Pink Di­vas breast cancer sup­port group meets at the Siloam Springs Se­nior Ac­tiv­i­ties Cen­ter at 750 Her­itage Court at 1:30 p.m. ev­ery Thurs­day. As breast cancer sur­vivors, the Pink Di­vas are united in help­ing oth­ers ex­pe­ri­enc­ing breast cancer di­ag­no­sis and treat­ment through education, en­cour­age­ment, com­fort and fi­nan­cial sup­port.
