Pa­tri­cia Ann Dun­can

Pa­tri­cia Ann Dun­can, 63, was born May 24, 1954, in Ok­la­homa City, Okla., to James Lynn Kim­brough and Elsie Carter Kim­brough. She mar­ried Low­ell Gene Wil­liams on July 9, 1971 and lived most of her life in Blanchard, Okla. Low­ell be­came a pas­tor of Bethel Free Ho­li­ness Church in 1998 and they moved to Col­cord, Okla. She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Low­ell on Fe­bru­ary 29, 2000.

She found love for a sec­ond time with Larry Ray Dun­can and was mar­ried June 22, 2000. She worked for Col­cord Pub­lic Schools for 23 years. She was also pre­ceded in death by her fa­ther, James Lynn Kim­brough; mother, Elsie Carter Kim­brough; a brother, James Dar­rell Kim­brough; and a grand­daugh­ter, Hope Wil­liams.

She is survived by her hus­band, Larry of the home; one brother, Ron­ald Gene Kim­brough and wife Joyce of Edmond, Okla.; three sons, Tony Gene Wil­liams and wife Velinda of Clare­more, Okla., James Scott Wil­liams and wife Mindy of Wyandotte, Okla., and Bobby Wil­liams and wife Crys­tal of Col­cord; two step­sons, Mickey Allen Dun­can and wife Shawna of Muskogee, Okla., and Carl Ray Dun­can and wife Carol of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 14 grand­kids: Valissa and hus­band Naa­son, Valen, Ka­ley, Kaden, Hunter, Tan­ner, Ja­lynn, Mabry, Rayce, Chan­ning, Kyler, Kam­bryn, and Avah; three step grand­kids, Hai­ley, Tyler, and Shelby; one step great grand­kid, Kolby; and sev­eral nieces, neph­ews, cousins, and rel­a­tives.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Tues­day, June 13, 2017, at Hor­net Arena, Col­cord, Okla., with Mr. Larry El­lis of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will fol­low at Dick­son Ceme­tery, Chero­kee City, Ark. Verna R. Falk

Verna R. Falk, 89, of De­catur, Ark., died June 4, 2017, at her home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Kings­ley, Iowa, to Tony Carter and Lola Stevens Carter. She mar­ried Lathan Walker and he pre­ceded her in death. She then mar­ried Hel­muth Falk and he pre­ceded her in death. She was a home­maker and mem­ber of the Quil­ter Guild and the De­catur United Methodist Church in De­catur.

She was pre­ceded in death by her first and sec­ond hus­bands; one son; and seven brothers and sis­ters.

She is survived by two sis­ters, Sharon Crow­der of Salina, Kan., and Shirley Zentz of Lee’s Sum­mit, Mo.; and a brother, Lester Carter of Roxbury, Kan.

Vis­i­ta­tion was 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Was­son Fu­neral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Fu­neral ser­vices were 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Was­son Me­mo­rial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial fol­lowed at De­catur Ceme­tery.

He­len Marie Mead

He­len Marie Mead, 74, of De­catur, Ark., died June 5, 2017, at Select Spe­cialty Hos­pi­tal in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Salina, Okla., to Vassco Eli­jah Goins and Marie Juanita Dear­mond Goins. She mar­ried Geney Ray Mead on Dec. 24, 1960. She worked at Siloam Springs Wal­mart for 14 years. She loved lis­ten­ing to gospel mu­sic and going to church singings. She en­joyed her yel­low roses, her flow­ers, and watch­ing the deer in her yard, and spend­ing time with her grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band and three brothers.

She is survived by two daugh­ters, Lacre­sha Jacks and hus­band Don of Grove, Okla., and Ray­mo­jean Lee and hus­band Wil­lie of Prairie Grove, Ark.; a son, Gene Mead Jr. of Jay, Okla.; nine grand­chil­dren; and 15 great-grand­chil­dren.

Grave­side ser­vices were held June 9, 2017, at Fall­ing Springs Ceme­tery in De­catur, Ark.
