Patricia Ann Duncan

Patricia Ann Duncan, 63, was born May 24, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to James Lynn Kimbrough and Elsie Carter Kimbrough. She married Lowell Gene Williams on July 9, 1971 and lived most of her life in Blanchard, Okla. Lowell became a pastor of Bethel Free Holiness Church in 1998 and they moved to Colcord, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell on February 29, 2000.

She found love for a second time with Larry Ray Duncan and was married June 22, 2000. She worked for Colcord Public Schools for 23 years. She was also preceded in death by her father, James Lynn Kimbrough; mother, Elsie Carter Kimbrough; a brother, James Darrell Kimbrough; and a granddaugh­ter, Hope Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; one brother, Ronald Gene Kimbrough and wife Joyce of Edmond, Okla.; three sons, Tony Gene Williams and wife Velinda of Claremore, Okla., James Scott Williams and wife Mindy of Wyandotte, Okla., and Bobby Williams and wife Crystal of Colcord; two stepsons, Mickey Allen Duncan and wife Shawna of Muskogee, Okla., and Carl Ray Duncan and wife Carol of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 14 grandkids: Valissa and husband Naason, Valen, Kaley, Kaden, Hunter, Tanner, Jalynn, Mabry, Rayce, Channing, Kyler, Kambryn, and Avah; three step grandkids, Hailey, Tyler, and Shelby; one step great grandkid, Kolby; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Hornet Arena, Colcord, Okla., with Mr. Larry Ellis officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Dickson Cemetery, Cherokee City, Ark. Verna R. Falk

Verna R. Falk, 89, of Decatur, Ark., died June 4, 2017, at her home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Kingsley, Iowa, to Tony Carter and Lola Stevens Carter. She married Lathan Walker and he preceded her in death. She then married Helmuth Falk and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the Quilter Guild and the Decatur United Methodist Church in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands; one son; and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sisters, Sharon Crowder of Salina, Kan., and Shirley Zentz of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and a brother, Lester Carter of Roxbury, Kan.

Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial followed at Decatur Cemetery.

Helen Marie Mead

Helen Marie Mead, 74, of Decatur, Ark., died June 5, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Salina, Okla., to Vassco Elijah Goins and Marie Juanita Dearmond Goins. She married Geney Ray Mead on Dec. 24, 1960. She worked at Siloam Springs Walmart for 14 years. She loved listening to gospel music and going to church singings. She enjoyed her yellow roses, her flowers, and watching the deer in her yard, and spending time with her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.

She is survived by two daughters, Lacresha Jacks and husband Don of Grove, Okla., and Raymojean Lee and husband Willie of Prairie Grove, Ark.; a son, Gene Mead Jr. of Jay, Okla.; nine grandchild­ren; and 15 great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside services were held June 9, 2017, at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur, Ark.
