Saturday Summer Lunch

Grace Episcopal Church will be serving free lunch to kids and adults every Saturday through Aug. 12. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. at the Siloam Springs Farmers Market.

Mobile lunches will also be served at the gazebo at Spring Valley Apartments, the Eliana Chacon Memorial Park and the picnic pavilion at Bob Henry Park.

Summer Lunch Program

Siloam Springs School District will be hosting a free summer lunch program for all children age 18 and younger, regardless of whether or not they attend school in Siloam Springs. Meals will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, now through Aug. 4 at Allen Elementary School and the Siloam Springs Middle School.

Lunch will also be served at three mobile locations, including at 11:15 a.m. by the gazebo at Spring Valley Apartments; 11:45 a.m. at Eliana Chacon Memorial Park; and 12:15 p.m. by the picnic pavilion at Bob Henry Park.

Adult meals are available at the Allen and Middle Schools only for $3.50. New this year, volunteers from Potters House are providing fun and free activities for kids at the mobile locations.

SSHS 1964-1979 Reunion

Siloam Springs High School classes of 1964 through 1979 will be holding a multi-class reunion on Sept. 16 at Camp Siloam (formerly the Baptist Assembly).

Registrati­on will be held from 3:30 to 4 p.m., followed by the reunion from 4 to 6 p.m. A meal will be provided (cost TBD) from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and former high school band members will be providing lots of fun, sentimenta­l 60’s-70’s musical entertainm­ent from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Tours will also be held throughout the day, including a tour of the Siloam Springs Museum from 10 a.m. to noon; a downtown walking tour at 11 a.m.; a tour of the new high school at 1 p.m.; and a tour of the old high school on Jefferson Street at 2 p.m.

The recommende­d donation for registrati­on is $15 per person and $25 per couple in advance, or $20 per person and $35 per couple at the door.
