Lorene F. Hopkins

Lorene F. Hopkins, 96, died on July 9, 2017, in Jenks, Okla.

She was a homemaker. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Ark. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 14 at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, Okla.

Norma Earlene Jones

Norma Earlene Jones, 80, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died July 11, 2017, at Concordia Nursing and Rehab in Bella Vista, Ark.

She was born Sept. 19, 1936, in Roosevelt, Okla., to Homer G. Parker and Letha Vernell Metheny Parker. She married Kenneth Jones on Jan. 24, 1955.

She was preceded in death by two grandchild­ren, Devren Eugene Saintingno­n and Presley Glenn White.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Cathi Mahurin of Creston, Iowa, and Patricia Foster and husband William of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; six grandchild­ren; five greatgrand­children; and one brother, Leland Parker of Gentry, Ark.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs,. Burial will be at Highfill Cemetery in Highfill, Ark.

Sean G. Pierce

Sean G. Pierce, 18, of Gentry, Ark., died July 6, 2017, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

He was born Sept. 9, 1998, in Jacksonvil­le, Ark., to Carolyn Harris Honey. He graduated from Gentry High School and lettered in football and baseball. He was an apprentice electricia­n.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r, Floyd Pierce.

He is survived by his mother, of Gentry; a brother, Brandon of Beebe, Ark.; three sisters, Jaime Pierce of Bella Vista, Ark., Samantha Pierce of Gentry, and Layla Honey of Gentry; and grandparen­ts, Elizabeth and Victor Harris of Gentry.

Funeral services were July 10, 2017, at Gentry First Baptist Church in Gentry. Burial was at Gentry Cemetery.

Suella ‘Susie’ Tanner

Suella “Susie” Tanner, 61, of Gravette, Ark., died July 6, 2017, at her home.

She was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Bakersfiel­d, Calif., to Allen Benson and Electra Mae Nichols Benson. She married Paul Tanner and he preceded her in death. She married Bill Emanuel and he preceded her in death. She was a postal carrier in Decatur, Ark.

She was preceded in death by parents; husbands; a son, Wesley Tanner; a daughter, Karen Tanner; and a brother, Robert Benson.

She is survived by a daughter, Heather Tanner of Springdale, Ark.; two grandchild­ren; and two brothers, James Benson and Stephen Benson, both of Gravette.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Maysville Missionary Baptist Church in Maysville, Ark. Burial will follow in Piney Cemetery in Jay, Okla.
