Long inducted into President’s Circle

COLCORD, Okla. — Anita Long, child nutrition services director for Colcord Public Schools, was inducted into the Opaa! Food Management’s President’s Circle during an awards ceremony on July 11.

The food management company recognized the top 10 percent of nutrition services directors with the President’s Circle Award, during the kickoff to its annual leadership conference, held at the St. Charles Convention Center, just outside of St. Louis, Mo.

Long received a framed certificat­e, an engraved apple award (symbolic of Opaa!’s logo), and other prizes to celebrate the milestone. This is the first time that Long has received the honor. The President’s Circle award represents outstandin­g achievemen­t in all areas of executing the child nutrition program at the director’s school district.

Andy Condie, president of Opaa! Food Management, presented Long with her award certificat­e.

Opaa! Food Management provides profession­al child nutrition management services to k-12 public schools throughout the midwest. Opaa!’s 3,000 employees serve 220 school districts, with a combined enrollment of 220,000 students in six states. Opaa! has been family-owned and operated for 39 years.
