Julian George Atkins II
Julian George Atkins II, 46, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Aug. 10, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.
He was born June 12, 1971, in Portales, N.M., to Julian George Atkins and Vonda Martineau Atkins. He graduated from Gentry High School in 1989. He worked as a surveyor and fence builder for many years. He married Edwina Simmons on June 12, 2014, in Gentry. He was a member of the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Carolyn Jones and husband Kris of West Siloam Springs; one son, Leonard King and wife Cassandra of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services were Aug. 15, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Mary Carlene Bell
Mary Carlene Bell, 60, of Kansas, Okla., died Aug. 11, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.
She was born March 13, 1957, to Harold Kauffeld and Chrissie Jewel Morris Kauffeld.
She lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma. She graduated from Watts (Okla.) High School in 1975. She married David Bell on Dec. 28, 2002, in Watts. She worked as a laborer for Simmons Industries for many years. She attended First Baptist Church in Kansas, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one sister, Margaret Sue Kauffeld.
She is survived by seven siblings, Wayne Kauffeld and wife Darlene of Watts, Jeanie Luttrell of Springdale, Ark., Cathy Watkins of Kansas, Okla., Glenda Gibson of Siloam Springs, Ark., Wesley Kauffeld of Siloam Springs, John David Kauffeld of Siloam Springs, and Charles Kauffeld of Siloam Springs.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Jack Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

Roger “Brad” Bolin
Brad Bolin, 71, of Strang, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2017. Brad is survived by his loving wife Linda. He is also sur- vived by his daughter Shelly Proctor and husband Mark of Noel, Missouri; a granddaughter Katy Proctor and husband, Loren of Anderson, Missouri, and a great-granddaughter, Callie Proctor.
Brad was born February 18, 1946, in Cave Springs, Arkansas, to Rufus and Eunice Bolin. He graduated from Gentry High School. He and Linda worked and raised cattle near Bentonville, Arkansas, before moving to their “happy ever after” ranch near Strang, Oklahoma, where they have raised cattle for the past 23 years. He was a member of the First Church of God, Pryor, Oklahoma.
Other survivors include brothers, Clifton Bolin and wife Calla of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Dexter Bolin and wife Jimmy of Oolagah, Oklahoma; sister, Patti Philpott and husband Randy of Lavaca, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Arkansas. Jamie Max Mundy
Jamie Max Mundy, 47, of Jay, Okla., died Aug. 10, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born June 15, 1970, in Bentonville, Ark., to Gary Mundy and Sandra Woods Staggs. He graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1988. He attended Connors State College and later graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. He worked most of his life in agriculture and as a small-business owner.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Ruth Mundy; his grandfather, Floyd Woods; and his step-grandfather, James Donald Hess.
He is survived by one daughter, Kadence Nicole Mundy of Fletcher, Okla.; his mother, Sandra Staggs and stepfather Bill of Siloam Springs; his father, Gary Mundy of Siloam Springs; one sister, Alisha Staggs and husband Mitchell Ross of Bentonville; one brother, Billy Jack Staggs II of Siloam Springs; one nephew, Leo Ross of Bentonville; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Woods of Siloam Springs; and stepgrandmother, Lula Hess of Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at the Colcord Church of Christ in Colcord, Okla., with Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Rosetta LaVaun Thomas
Rosetta LaVaun Thomas, 76, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died July 26, 2017, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.
