Gentry hosting “Go Healthy” event

GENTRY — “Go Healthy” is a program that helps a person take charge of his or her health and enjoy the better lifestyle that the Community Family Health Fair is offering. Free tests such as glucose, blood pressure, fitness, body-fat analysis, health age, dental, vision, medical, nutrition (with food samples), oxygen flow-meter and more will be available. Haircuts are offered. too.

Doctors, dentists, optometrists and nurses will be on hand for testing and assessments. All are invited to take advantage of this program and receive free consultations to learn about the simple lifestyle changes which will make one a healthier person. The program is set up for whole families to attend as a Sunday afternoon outing, with a separate program set up for children to assess their health status in a fun way, including a jungle gym and obstacle course.

A special feature will be the presence of a rescue helicopter and its crew. Demonstrations and hands-on activities will be available. Yearly family medical insurance for emergency helicopter transportation is available at a discount for any attendees to the health fair.
