AREA SPORTS/RECREATION CALENDAR
The Siloam Springs Herald-Leader invites area sports clubs, teams and organizations to submit news about activities and events. Fax information to 524-5159 or e-mail to gthomas@nwaonline.com. All-Sports Passes
Athletic All-Sports Passes are for sale at Siloam Springs High School. Students K-12 are $20, while adults are $60 and a family pass, which is for two adults and two or more children living in the same household, is $150. Passes are good for all home Siloam Springs School District athletic events, excluding benefit games and AAA events.
SSFC fall 2017 soccer registration
Siloam Springs Futbol Club will be taking registrations for the fall season through Aug. 26. Registration is available online at www.siloamspringsFC.com or by visiting the Parks and Recreation Department located at 120 S. Mt. Olive St.
Final Registration will be held at the Arvest Bank west branch (next to Atwoods) from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 26. Look for the SSFC banner. Fall registration fees are $65 for the first child with $5 discounts for each sibling. If you wish to register for both the fall and spring season, the fee is $100 for the first child and $95 for each sibling. Children between the ages of 5-17 may participate.

Senior exercise options
The Walton Lifetime Health Complex on the campus of John Brown University is a participating facility for both SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit programs. These programs are designed for senior Medicare/Medicaid eligible members and offer a unique blend of physical activity for all. Classes are offered five days a week and are taught by certified instructors. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. There also is a class that meets in the indoor pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday called “Splash.” If eligible, a SilverSneakers or Silver&Fit membership could be covered by insurance at no charge or for a maximum of $25 a year.
