CCF Women’s Bible Study

Community Christian Fellowship Women of Purpose Bible Study will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays at room #104 at CCF. The group is studying II Corinthian­s and to discover how relevant Paul’s experience is to the present day, and how people can find comfort, strength, joy, rest, confidence, victory and more by applying God’s word to their lives. Participan­ts should bring their Bible and a notebook, and enter through the south door. Childcare, although not currently available, may be provided depending on need. Holy Eucharist service

A Celtic Evensong with Holy Eucharist service will be offered at Grace Episcopal Church at 5:30 p.m. Sunday evenings. This Celtic worship service celebrates liturgical traditions drawn from Iona and Northumbri­a, celebratin­g simplicity, meditation, music, and community. This service welcomes worshipers from other faith traditions, as well as those with little to no religious background. All are welcome.

Eastgate Awana

Eastgate Baptist Church, located at 4950 U.S. Highway 412 East, will host Awana on Wednesday nights. Each night will begin at 6 p.m. with a light meal, and Awana Club will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. During that time, kids — agres 4 years through sixth grade — will play games, have a lesson, and learn the word of God. Ladies Bible Study

First Baptist Church is holding a women’s Bible study titled Acts: The Growth of the Early Church. Two classes will be offered each Wednesday, from 9 to 11 a.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. The class is taught by Laura Macfarlan. Books may be purchased at the church office in advance of the first day of class. JOY Choir

It’s time for some JOY! On Thursday, Sept. 7 the JOY Choir at First Baptist Church Siloam Springs will be starting up once again. Senior adults from throughout the community are invited to join and participat­e. Rehearsals will be from 10 to 11 a.m. each Thursday at First Baptist Church. Beth Moore Simulcast

First United Methodist Church of Grove Okla., located at 1005 Leisure Road in Grove, will host a Beth Moore Simulcast from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Moore will be presenting “Captivated: The Wonder of Christ on the Winding Road” along with worship music with Travis Cottrell. Tickets are $20, which includes lunch, snack, childcare and door prizes. Community Women’s Bible Study

Community Women’s Bible Study, an interdenom­inational gathering, will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 20 at Sager Creek Community Church, located at 1600 Cheri Whitlock Dr. in Siloam Springs. The group will be studying “All Things New” by Kelly Minter, based on II Corinthian­s. Study guides will be available to purchase at the first meeting. KidsTime children’s program will be available for a small charge for infants through 5 years. There will also be a 6:30 p.m. evening Bible study on the same topic in the same location. Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary

Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary Catholic Church provides free meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Friday of each month. Veterans, the homeless, needy, elderly, unemployed, lonely and any families with children are invited to the free homecooked meal. Harvard Avenue Baptist Church

Harvard Avenue Baptist Church’s mission is to connect all people to Christ, his community, and his calling. People who are not currently attending a local church or have recently moved into the community, are invited to attend the church on Sunday mornings. Mothering Matters

Mothering Matters holds meetings the first and third Fridays of each month, September through May, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Siloam Springs Bible Church. Mothering Matters is a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church designed to encourage mothers of young children. Quality, loving childcare by skilled, background-checked child care workers is offered during monthly meetings to children age infant through prekinderg­arten as well as homeschool­ers.

The office of My Family Eye Care is accepting new and gently used coats and sweaters to help those in need during cold weather. Clothes will be cleaned and then distribute­d through Eastgate Church of Christ’s clothing giveaway on the first Friday night of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Contributi­ons can be made to My Family Eye Care at 820 State Line Road, Snappy Dry Cleaners at 618 S. Holly Street, or at Eastgate Church of Christ at 1997 Highway 412. All sizes of clothing are needed, especially children’s sizes. Christ Lutheran Church

Christ Lutheran Church is located at 920 S. Carl Street in Siloam Springs. Divine Worship is held each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School for children and adult Bible study begins at 9:15 a.m. The Sacrament of the Altar is celebrated on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month. The Adult Bible Study group is studying a topical interactiv­e Bible Study about the basic teachings of the Scripture and is called: “God Connects.. Renewing, Reviewing, and Refreshing My Faith,” provided by Lutheran Hour Ministries and hosted by Pastor Gregory Seltz, Speaker of The Lutheran Hour Radio Broadcast.
