June Church

June Church, 80, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died on Sept. 28, 2017, at Wil­lard Walker Hospice Home, in Fayetteville, Ark.

She was born on Aug. 27, 1937, in Hog­jaw, Ala., the daugh­ter of Martin Luther Boyd and Lu­cille Azileene Bur­ney Boyd. She mar­ried Luke L. Church on April 9, 1955, in Wat­sonville, Calif. She was a house­wife and a min­is­ter with the Pen­te­costal Assem­blies of the World. She was a mem­ber of Christ Tem­ple Church in West Siloam Springs.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Luke L. Church; five daugh­ters, Joy Thomas and hus­band Ron of Sum­mers, Ark., Grace Burgess of Siloam Springs, Hope Karpen of West Siloam Springs, Faith Good­man and hus­band Kevin of West Siloam Springs and Sharon Rose Blan­chard of Fayetteville; 25 grand­chil­dren; 61 great-grand­chil­dren; nine great-great-grand­chil­dren; one brother, Jer­lon Boyd of Aromis, Calif.; and one sis­ter, Marci Boyd An­nett of De­catur, Ala.

Fu­neral ser­vices were 10:30 a.m. Satur­day, Sept. 30, 2017, at Christ Tem­ple Church in West Siloam Springs, with Suf­fra­gan Bishop Gaynor of­fi­ci­at­ing and Pre­sid­ing Bishop Mad­den speak­ing. Burial fol­lowed at Bell Ceme­tery in Watts, Okla.

Judy Kay Gourd Cook, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, born March 13, 1951 in Ber­ryville, Arkansas, daugh­ter of Dale Ed­ward and Lu­cille Ona (Young­blood)

Cook. She de­parted this life Tues­day, Septem­ber 26, 2017, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 66 years.

She is sur­vived by her two sons, Michael Gourd of Shawnee, Kansas, and Jef­fery Gourd of Fort Scott, Kansas; two sis­ters, Brenda Vaughn of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Carol Moss of Ok­la­homa City, Ok­la­homa; two grand­sons, Kor­byn and Chase Gourd; two grand­daugh­ters, Al­li­son and Ava Gourd; nu­mer­ous other rel­a­tives, loved ones and friends.

Judy is pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Dale and Lu­cille Cook; sis­ter, De­bra Reed and brother, Danny Cook.

Ray­dean C. Nor­ris, 83, of Westville, Okla., died Sept. 25, 2017, at Wil­lard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville, Ark.

She was born July 25, 1934, in Watts, Okla., to Ce­cil Col­lyge and Ruth Pen­der­graft Col­lyge. She mar­ried Carl Nor­ris in 1993. She was a corp sec­re­tary for M&M En­gi­neer­ing and also worked at Simmons Food Ind., as a hu­man re­sources as­sis­tant. She was a mem­ber of Baron Bap­tist Church in Ok­la­homa.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band; a brother Bert Col­lyge; and two sis­ters, Frankie Col­lyge and Bet­tye Hamme.

She is sur­vived by a son, Craig Collins and wife Marla of Siloam Springs, Ark.; a step­daugh­ter, Carla Deub­ner and hus­band Kent of Pleas­ant Hill, Mo.; four step-grand­chil­dren; one step-great-grand­child; a sis­ter, Bil­lie Gib­son of Col­cord, Okla.; two half­sis­ters, Ce­cilia Bar­low and hus­band Cur­tis of LaQuinta, Calif., and Jeanie Row­land and hus­band Mike of Franklin, Tenn.; and two half-broth­ers, Pete Col­lyge and wife Sharon of Bal­ti­more, Md., and Corky Col­lyge and wife Deb­bie of Fort Smith, Ark.

A me­mo­rial grave­side ser­vice will be held at 10 a.m. Satur­day, Oct. 14, 2017, at Westville Ceme­tery. In lieu of flow­ers do­na­tions may be made to Camp Siloam, 3600 South Lin­coln St., Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

Ver­non Ju­nior Reams, 74-year-old res­i­dent of Gen­try, Arkansas, died Septem­ber

27, 2017, at Wash­ing­ton Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Born on Au­gust 11, 1943, in Ben­tonville, Arkansas, he was the son of Charles H. Reams and Edna L. El­liott Reams. Ver­non grad­u­ated from Gen­try High School in 1962. He mar­ried Judy Roberts on June 10, 1962, in Gen­try, Arkansas. Ver­non worked as a chicken and dairy farmer, and also was the owner of Reams Ex­ca­vat­ing. He was a mem­ber of the Spring­town Methodist Church in Spring­town, Arkansas.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Judy Reams of the home; one son, Ver­non J. Reams II and wife Tanya of High­fill, Arkansas; one daugh­ter, Va­lerie King and hus­band Brian of Gen­try, Arkansas; one grandson, Char­lie Reams of High­fill; two grand­daugh­ters, Ash­ton Har­rel­son and hus­band Aaron of Gen­try, and Ti­auna L. Young and hus­band Cameron of Low­ell, Arkansas; and one sis­ter, Janice Brace and hus­band Jerry of Rogers, Arkansas.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Satur­day, Septem­ber 30, 2017, at Was­son Fu­neral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pas­tor Den­nis Thrasher of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will fol­low at Elm Springs Ceme­tery, Elm Springs, Arkansas.
