Dan Webb, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sept. 30, 2017, at Wil­lard Walker Hospice House in Fayet­teville, Ark.

He was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Jamestown, Ark., to Henry Webb and Ada Gar­land Webb. He grad­u­ated from East Bak­ers­field High School in Bak­ers­field, Calif., where he played foot­ball and was on the box­ing team. He was in the U.S. Army dur­ing the Bay of Pigs era. He mar­ried Joyce Pet­ti­grew on Oct. 23, 1965, in Las Ve­gas, Nev. He was a fire­fighter and en­gi­neer for the South­ern Pa­cific Rail­road Com­pany. He re­tired as an owner and op­er­a­tor of a KOA camp­ground in Mis­souri. He loved to travel in his RV in his free time.

He was pre­ceded in death by one brother, Ed­die Wayne Webb.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Joyce Webb of the home; two daugh­ters, Lorre Anne Webb of Bak­ers­field and Robyn Kilpatrick and hus­band Chris of Bak­ers­field,; one grand­son; three grand­daugh­ters; sev­eral great­grand­chil­dren; and one sis­ter, Ann Snow of Heal­ing Springs, Ark.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Thurs­day, Oct. 5, 2017, at First Chris­tian Church in Siloam Springs with Pas­tor Joel Ruther­ford of­fi­ci­at­ing. Visi­ta­tion will be thirty min­utes prior to the fu­neral. Burial will be at Hill­crest Me­mo­rial Park in Bak­ers­field.
