Dan Webb
Dan Webb, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sept. 30, 2017, at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Jamestown, Ark., to Henry Webb and Ada Garland Webb. He graduated from East Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, Calif., where he played football and was on the boxing team. He was in the U.S. Army during the Bay of Pigs era. He married Joyce Pettigrew on Oct. 23, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a firefighter and engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. He retired as an owner and operator of a KOA campground in Missouri. He loved to travel in his RV in his free time.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Wayne Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Webb of the home; two daughters, Lorre Anne Webb of Bakersfield and Robyn Kilpatrick and husband Chris of Bakersfield,; one grandson; three granddaughters; several greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Ann Snow of Healing Springs, Ark.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at First Christian Church in Siloam Springs with Pastor Joel Rutherford officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the funeral. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield.
