Duncan returns to Community Physicians Group’s Gentry Medical Center
Community Physicians Group recently announced the return of Dr. Carl Duncan.
Duncan was on staff at the Siloam Springs Medical Center in Siloam Springs for a number of years and will be returning to CPG to join the Gentry Medical Center, after spending the past two years working for Cherokee Nation Health Services.
“I have always felt a calling to serve others and my time at Sam Hider Health Center in Jay (Okla.) allowed me to work in an under-served area and provide quality care for many who are struggling to just get by,” he said.
Specializing in Family Medicine, he provides a full range of health care services spanning from infancy thru adulthood, with a particular emphasis on promoting a healthy lifestyle for all ages. Duncan provides services such as wellness exams (children and adults), acute care, weight loss counseling and treatment (including childhood obesity), smoking cessation counseling, and the comprehensive management of chronic illnesses. He also performs a variety of procedures such as lesion removal, circumcisions and other minor procedures.
Duncan completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Okla. He received his medical degree from Oklahoma University College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and completed his residency and internship at the Great Plains Family Practice Residency Program in Oklahoma City, where he served as chief resident.

completed training and holds certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Duncan is married and has three children. He enjoys gardening, raising beef cattle, playing basketball and participating in medical missions, both domestic and foreign. Duncan is known for his quality, compassionate care.
