Hurricane disaster relief sale

A huge hurricane disaster relief sale will be held on Oct. 27 and 28 at Sager Creek Community Church, located at 1600 Cheri Whitlock in Siloam Springs. All proceeds will go to disaster relief following the recent hurricanes. Donations of merchandise as well as volunteers to help are welcome. Mother/Son dance

The Siloam Springs Parks and Recreation Department will host the Mother/Son dance on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the American Legion Community Building on 110 Mt. Olive St. A $15 ticket will cover one mother and up to two sons; tickets can be purchased for each additional son for $5 each.

Tickets are available at the Parks and Recreation office at 401 W. University Street through 5 p.m. on Oct. 13. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Yoga classes

Bridges to Wellness and the Siloam Springs Parks and Recreation Department are sponsoring Yoga classes. Classes will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday nights at the Moss House located at 311 S. Mt. Olive Street. The cost for classes is $3. For more information, call Sarah Losh at 479-549-3143.

Pink Party

Bring your girlfriends and drop in from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital for a Pink Party. This free event is for women of all ages and includes hors d’oeuvres, pampering, prizes, a survivors celebration, imaging tours and optional on-thespot mammograms for those who would like to be screened that day.
