Mother/Son dance

The Siloam Springs Parks and Recreation Department will host the Mother/ Son dance on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The dance will be held at the American Legion Community Building on 110 Mt. Olive Street. A $15 ticket will cover one mother and up to two sons; tickets can be purchased for each additional son for $5 each.

Tickets are available at the Parks and Recreation office at 401 W. University Street through 5 p.m. on Oct. 13. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Yoga classes

Bridges to Wellness and the Siloam Springs Parks and Recreation Department are sponsoring Yoga classes.

Classes will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday nights at the Moss House located at 311 S. Mt. Olive Street. The cost for classes is $3. For more informatio­n, call Sarah Losh at 479-549-3143.

Pink Party

Bring your girlfriend­s and drop in from 3-7 p.m., Oct. 26 at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital for a Pink Party. This free event is for women of all ages and includes hors d’oeuvres, pampering, prizes, a survivors celebratio­n, imaging tours and optional on-the-spot mammograms for those who would like to be screened that day. Friends of the Library annual meeting

The Friends of the Siloam Springs Public Library will hold their annual meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in the library meeting room. All are welcome to attend.

Diabetic Nutrition Class

Siloam Springs Regional Hospital will present a Diabetic Nutrition Class and free luncheon at 12 p.m. on Oct. 25.

Meals on Wheels seeking volunteers

The Siloam Springs Meals on Wheels program has two openings for volunteers to deliver meals, both on Tuesday. The route begins at 10:45 a.m. and takes a little more than an hour to complete. For more informatio­n, call 479-524-5735.
