DeEtta Pearl Brumett

DeEtta Pearl Brumett, 85-year-old res­i­dent of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died Oc­to­ber 28, 2017, at Siloam Springs Nurs­ing and Re­hab. Born April 14, 1932, in Den­ver, Colorado, she was the daugh­ter of Ge­orge Tour­tillott and Dol­lie Tour­tillott. DeEtta lived all her life in north­east Ok­la­homa and north­west Arkansas, she mar­ried Jack Brumett. She was re­tired from Franklin Elec­tric and was a mem­ber of Sager Creek Com­mu­nity Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Sur­vivors in­clude her sis­ter, Dorothy Broder­son of Tulsa, Ok­la­homa; neph­ews, Robert Stacks of Kan­sas, Ok­la­homa, and Ron­nie Stacks of Watts, Ok­la­homa; nieces, Deb­bie Phipps of Westville, Ok­la­homa, Teresa Bruner of Hous­ton, Texas, and Pam Ber­lin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and a num­ber of other nieces and neph­ews.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 10 a.m. Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 1, 2017, at Was­son Me­mo­rial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will fol­low in Kan­sas Ceme­tery, Kan­sas, Ok­la­homa. Perry D. San­ders

Perry D. San­ders, 80, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Oct. 28, 2017, at his home.

He was born July 20, 1937, in Visalia, Calif., to El­bert Amos San­ders andEva Oleta McKin­ney San­ders. He served the coun­try in the Air Force dur­ing Korea and Viet­nam and then re­tired in 1974. He then went on and taught school in ju­nior high, high school and com­mu­nity col­lege. He was a mem­ber of the Amer­i­can Le­gion Home, Shriner and the Twin Oaks Bap­tist Church in Keller, Texas. He mar­ried Ge­or­gia Mayes Hatch in 2009. He was 32nd de­gree, 50 year, Ma­son and was a mem­ber of the Home Sweet Home Lodge, Ar­ling­ton, Texas. He was pre­ceded in death by his first wife Mary; a son, Bruce; and two sis­ters, Lot­tie Mae Fair­banks and Mil­dred Cox. Sur­vivors in­clude his wife Ge­or­gia of the home; a son, Greg San­ders of Cam­bo­dia; and a grand­son. Vis­i­ta­tion will be 5 to 8 p.m. at Was­son Fu­neral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark. Fu­neral ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Fri­day, Nov. 3, 2017, at Gum Springs Bap­tist Church in Siloam Springs. Burial will fol­low in Oak Hill Ceme­tery in Siloam Springs.

Bobby Bruce Shaf­fer Jr., 45, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Oct. 21, 2017, in West Siloam Springs.

He was born Dec. 3, 1972, in Jay, Okla., to Bobby Shaf­fer Sr. and Twyla Kauf­feld Dozier. He worked as an elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer for Sim­mons Foods Inc. and served in the Na­tional Guard.

He was pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther and grand­par­ents.

He is sur­vived by a son, Mor­gan Shaf­fer of Flint Ridge, Okla.; a daugh­ter, Nicole Shaf­fer of Kan­sas, Okla.; his mother and step­fa­ther, Twyla and Steve Dozier of West Siloam Springs; a sis­ter, Lanetta Shaf­fer of Chance, Okla., and a brother, Tris­ten Kauf­feld of Fort Ri­ley, Kan.

Me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. Wed­nes­day, Nov. 1, 2017, at Was­son Me­mo­rial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark.
