Neva J. Beaver

Neva J. Beaver, 66, of Spring­dale, Ark., died Oct. 22, 2017.

She was born Dec. 13, 1951, in Siloam Springs,

Ark., to

War­ren B. Nice­warner and Eve­lyn

Lyons Nice­warner.

She grad­u­ated from Lin­coln High School and joined the U.S. Navy soon af­ter. She mar­ried Phillip Leach and they were sta­tioned in var­i­ous places, in­clud­ing Scot­land. She worked sev­eral years as a so­cial agent for the Sal­va­tion Army. She loved to cro­chet, read books and raise flow­ers. She worked with her grand­chil­dren and en­joyed them im­mensely.

She was pre­ceded in death by her fa­ther; two hus­bands and four un­cles.

She is sur­vived by two sons, Christo­pher Leach and wife Brit­tany of Mem­phis, Tenn., and Matthew Beaver and wife Kris­ten; one daugh­ter, Genna Hunt and hus­band Wil­liam of Fayet­teville, Ark.; her mother, Eve­lyn Nice­warner of Siloam Springs; five grand­chil­dren; and a brother, David Nice­warner of Elkins, Ark.

Fu­neral ser­vices are pend­ing.

Clara Belle Rus­sell

Clara Belle Rus­sell, 81, of Clar­ity Point As­sisted Liv­ing Cen­ter in Fayet­teville, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2017.

She was born April 21, 1936, in Globe, Ariz., to Lon Alva Sim­mons, and Iva Dell Hinton Sim­mons. She mar­ried Johnny Rus­sell in New Mex­ico, in Oc­to­ber, 1954. She was a reg­is­tered nurse and a mem­ber of First Chris­tian Church in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band; one daugh­ter, Anita Odell; sonin-law, Mike Odell; and one grand­son.

She is sur­vived by one son, Steven Rus­sell and wife Mar­garet, of Spring­dale, Ark.; two daugh­ters, Su­san Mo­rales and hus­band Harold of Den­ham Springs, La., and Belinda Reed and hus­band Don of Siloam Springs, six grand­chil­dren; and sev­eral great­grand­chil­dren.

Fu­neral ser­vices were Nov. 4, 2017, at Was­son Chapel in Siloam Springs, with Terry Sch­linker of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial was at Oak Hill Ceme­tery, in Siloam Springs.

Wil­liam ‘Bill’ Fran­cis Ste­wart

Wil­liam “Bill” Fran­cis Ste­wart, 76, of Gen­try, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2017, at Cir­cle of Life Hospice at Legacy Vil­lage in Ben­tonville, Ark.

He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Bed­ford, Iowa, to Mar­ion Wil­liam Ste­wart and Marie John­son Ste­wart. He mar­ried Delores Woods in Jane, Mo., on April 8, 1974. He worked for Franklin Elec­tric as an engi­neer be­fore re­tir­ing. He served our coun­try in the Army.

He was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Delores; and one sis­ter, Es­ther.

Sur­vivors in­clude his four chil­dren, Clarissa Flatt and hus­band Travis of Gen­try, Wil­liam An­thony Ste­wart and wife Cindy of Gen­try, Eska Wertz and hus­band Ron­ald of Ben­tonville and Cyn­thia Blum and hus­band Christo­pher of Farm­ing­ton, Ark.; nine grand­chil­dren; two great­grand­chil­dren; and sis­ter, Vir­ginia Still of Gen­try.

Fu­neral ser­vices were Nov. 4, 2017, at Was­son Me­mo­rial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial was at Gen­try Ceme­tery.
