Neva J. Beaver

Neva J. Beaver, 66, of Springdale, Ark., died Oct. 22, 2017.

She was born Dec. 13, 1951, in Siloam Springs,

Ark., to

Warren B. Nicewarner and Evelyn

Lyons Nicewarner.

She graduated from Lincoln High School and joined the U.S. Navy soon after. She married Phillip Leach and they were stationed in various places, including Scotland. She worked several years as a social agent for the Salvation Army. She loved to crochet, read books and raise flowers. She worked with her grandchild­ren and enjoyed them immensely.

She was preceded in death by her father; two husbands and four uncles.

She is survived by two sons, Christophe­r Leach and wife Brittany of Memphis, Tenn., and Matthew Beaver and wife Kristen; one daughter, Genna Hunt and husband William of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; her mother, Evelyn Nicewarner of Siloam Springs; five grandchild­ren; and a brother, David Nicewarner of Elkins, Ark.

Funeral services are pending.

Clara Belle Russell

Clara Belle Russell, 81, of Clarity Point Assisted Living Center in Fayettevil­le, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2017.

She was born April 21, 1936, in Globe, Ariz., to Lon Alva Simmons, and Iva Dell Hinton Simmons. She married Johnny Russell in New Mexico, in October, 1954. She was a registered nurse and a member of First Christian Church in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Anita Odell; sonin-law, Mike Odell; and one grandson.

She is survived by one son, Steven Russell and wife Margaret, of Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Susan Morales and husband Harold of Denham Springs, La., and Belinda Reed and husband Don of Siloam Springs, six grandchild­ren; and several greatgrand­children.

Funeral services were Nov. 4, 2017, at Wasson Chapel in Siloam Springs, with Terry Schlinker officiatin­g. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Siloam Springs.

William ‘Bill’ Francis Stewart

William “Bill” Francis Stewart, 76, of Gentry, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e, Ark.

He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Bedford, Iowa, to Marion William Stewart and Marie Johnson Stewart. He married Delores Woods in Jane, Mo., on April 8, 1974. He worked for Franklin Electric as an engineer before retiring. He served our country in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; and one sister, Esther.

Survivors include his four children, Clarissa Flatt and husband Travis of Gentry, William Anthony Stewart and wife Cindy of Gentry, Eska Wertz and husband Ronald of Bentonvill­e and Cynthia Blum and husband Christophe­r of Farmington, Ark.; nine grandchild­ren; two greatgrand­children; and sister, Virginia Still of Gentry.

Funeral services were Nov. 4, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial was at Gentry Cemetery.
