Katherine L. Keith

Katherine L. Keith, 83, of Decatur, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2017, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Mulkey Town, Ill., to Arlin Sanders and Irene Ball Sanders. She married Wesley Keith on May 1, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband; four children, Laura Richardson, Neil Keith, Roger Keith and Penny Keith; three sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include five sons, Jimmy Keith of Decatur, Ricky Keith of Summers, Ark., Johnny Keith of Decatur, David Keith of Decatur, and Arlin Keith of Decatur; nine grandchild­ren; and a brother, Joe Sanders of Eucha, Okla.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur, with Janet Long officiatin­g.

Joyce Faye Lewis

Joyce Faye Lewis, 91, of Siloam Springs, Ark., and longtime resident of Oklahoma City, Okla., died on Nov. 5, 2017.

She was born on Oct. 14, 1926, in Watts, Okla., to Lawyer Swake and Carrie Mowery Swake. She was married to Bob Lewis for more than 30 years. They managed Langston’s Western Wear for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, Buddy Swake.

She is survived by many close friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with the Rodeo Opry Family officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time, Friday, November 10, 2017.

Jimmy Dean Luedecke

Jimmy Dean Luedecke, 77, of Gentry, Ark., died on Nov. 3, 2017, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Ark.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1940, in Mobeetie, Texas, to Arthur Otto Luedecke and Thelma Angelina Deatheridg­e Luedecke. He moved to Gentry in 1969 from Galesburg, Ill. He worked as a punch press operator for Franklin Electric in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was a member of the Springtown Church of Christ.

He is survived by four children, Denna Luedecke of Gentry, Steve Luedecke and wife Angela of Bentonvill­e, Ark., Kelly Luedecke and Sissy Shook Luedecke of Alpena, Ark., and Sheila Verser and husband Alton of Decatur, Ark.; 10 grandchild­ren; 12 great-grandchild­ren; and two sisters, Irene Weldon and Kathy Honson.

Graveside services were held Nov. 7, 2017, at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Ark., with James Luedecke officiatin­g.

Donald Sterling Vance

Donald Sterling Vance, 74, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died on Nov. 5, 2017, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark.

He was born on May 29, 1943, in Moline, Ill., to Stan Vance and Margaret Bright Vance Myers. He married Sharon Cole on Dec. 1, 1968, in Las Vegas, Nev. He worked for many years as a truck driver, driving for himself and Schnider Transport. He was a member of NHRA.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Vance of the home; four children, Gary Vance and wife Ginger of Chickasha, Okla., John Vance and wife Angela of Lakeside, Calif., Dusty Czubernat and husband Chris of Henderson, Nev., and Debra Dunning and husband Bill of Spring Valley, Calif.; 12 grandchild­ren; two greatgrand­children; and one sister, Linda Myers.

The family will have a private family memorial service.
