Watie Darius Foreman

Watie Darius Foreman, 77, of Kansas, Okla., died Jan. 29, 2018, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

He was born on July 19, 1940, to Hubert and Elsie Foreman in Claremore, Okla. He served honorably in the United States Navy. Later on, he found his true passion of being a truck driver. He enjoyed driving his truck to 48 of the United States and to Canada throughout his career.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrytle Jackson and Marlene Foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Foreman of the home; two sons, Watie Foreman Jr. and wife Nancy of Jay, Okla., Wilson Foreman and wife Karen of Twin Oaks, Okla., a stepson, Levi Mitchell of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Vanessa Brineger and husband Kerry of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Terri Hendrix of Florida; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Mitchell of Siloam Springs, and Brandi Moten and husband Rob of Siloam Springs; and two sisters, Skeeter Dixon of Oaks, Okla., and Patsy Barnett of Oaks.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Betty Jean Moore

Betty Jean Moore, 58, of Decatur, Ark., died Jan. 30, 2018, at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton, Ark.

She was born Oct. 7, 1959, in Gravette, Ark., to Grover Moore and Lillie Vandenack Moore. She lived her whole life in the Decatur area and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gentry, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

A homecoming celebration will be held 10 a.m. Feb. 24, 2018, at Gentry First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
