Lyndle James Taylor, 87, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Feb. 6, 2018, at Siloam Springs Regional Medical Center in Siloam Springs, Ark.

He was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Time, Ill., the son of Arthur V. Taylor and Ethel McGlone Taylor. He served our country during the Korean War and was a Southern Baptist minister for several churches including Big Cabin Baptist in Big Cabin, Okla., Rocky Branch Baptist in Rogers, Ark. and Westside Baptist in Colcord, Okla. He married Jewel Vest on May 29, 2016, and was a member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jacquelyn; son, Lyndle Jr.; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include his wife Jewel of the home; daughters, Kim Taylor of Vinita, Okla., and Kay Peters and husband Todd of Broken Arrow, Okla.; son, Mark Taylor of Lowell, Ark.; 8 grandchild­ren; and 10 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. Burial will be 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Big Cabin Cemetery in Big Cabin.
